I used to buy a very inexpensive sponge to wash my dishes with. I now no longer purchase an inferior quality sponge since the qwuality of the ScotchBrite Heavy Duty Sponge is well worth the extra money. Not to mention they last much longer than the very cheap ones I previously used so I pay less in the long run. I love these sponges. They are haevy duty and I can use them to scrub my pots and pans but they do not scratch my glasses. The ScotchBrite Heavy Duty Sponges are my favorites now. I do not have a dishwasher so a quality sponge is a must in my house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sponge in the mail last week and have been using it since. The sponge side is great, really. Very good for dishes, counters and stove top. The "scrub" side is not great. It hold the yucky stuff you scratch off the pans in the scrubby and it is gross. Use it on plates and bowls and things but I would not use it on cleaning pots and pans that have stuck on food, it will be stuck in the scrubby.

I have tried many brands of sponges for doing the dishes in my household of 5. These are so far the best I have found for durability and strength on the tough pots and pans and don't worry that they will do any damage to my other more delicate dishes. I just love them. Thank You

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch-Brite HD scrub sponge is a unique tool. I do keep one around in the kitchen, but honestly I mostly keep them near my tools and paint supplies. To me it's a bit rough for most daily dish washing tasks as it can leave scratches, but I like it for pots & pans with stubborn cooked on messes as it is my go to. I like to use these for tool clean-ups and a quick surface prep on metals for paint touch-ups. I must for the bar-b-que grill. When done, rinse, then throw the sponge on the top shelf of the dishwasher for repeated use. I received samples of the sponges with a curved shape. Not sure if I prefer this to a rectangular shape, but either way the do the job well.

We've all tried cheaper sponges to save a few cents but they do not compare to Scotch-Brite sponges, that's for sure. I know I'll be getting the job done whether it's the kitchen or the bathroom when I'm in cleaning mode. These sponges are tough and I wouldn't trust anything else to help get my cleaning done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product several weeks ago in exchange for my review. I love how tough this scrub is, without being too harsh. I've used to clean my grimy stovetop and my dishes. The only downside that I've seen is that sometimes, depending on the grime or food, the leftover stuff gets stuck on the surface of the scrub and it doesn't come off. I like to cut these in half so I have two sponges to use, since I don't require the larger size for my cleaning.

I use these sponges for everything. I first use them to scrub my stainless steel waterless/greaseless cookware, stubborn egg off dishes and my glass top stove. I don't have a dish washing appliance. As the sponges get old, I use them when I'm washing the car, works great on stubborn black tar spatter on wheels. I also use them to clean the face bowl, tub & kitchen sink. When I do my caulking, I use the sponge side of an old one. Fits just right in crevices, and makes a smooth neat line. I use them in the summer to clean the grill. There great for whatever and wherever you use them. I buy them by the case, so I don't run short.

I absolutely love the heavy duty scrub sponge. Not only do I use it for the hard to clean dishes but I have one for my ceramic floor as it cleans the grout better than anything I've ever tried. It lasts for a long time & I don't get better results from anything else. I actually love all the scotch brite products because they work the best & they are all at an excellant price. I wouldn't change this product for anything else.
