So much quicker!

I really enjoyed this attachment. I have been wanting to buy one for months and it was well worth it. It was a little difficult to get started (having enough filling, not overfilling it and making sure my pasta sheets were uniformed) but after a few tries to really worked out. A few trial and errors and a few things on my end that I could do better, but overall a good purchase! I made five sheets of ravioli in about 30 minutes! Extremely happy with the way they turned out! **I do recommend purchasing the pasta roller because it made things a lot easier and helped with getting the pasta sheets uniformed**

Not worth it

I have many attachments and this is the first one I cannot recommend. It is not powered by the machine, but is instead hand operated - all the machine does is provide a location to mount the attachment. In terms of functionality, I find the attachment hard to use. Many of my ravioli come out broken, only partially filled, or otherwise unusable. Also, the elevated position of the attachment does not create the best working position. Save yourself some cash and skip this one. Makes some sheets of pasta, get a spoon and last out blobs of filling on a sheet. Cover that with a second pasta sheet and cut out the ravioli by hand. This method is easier, faster, and all of the output will be usable, unlike the attachment where 30% of what I made ended up in the trash. After trying this attachment 3 times, I've finally given up on it.

Made homemade raviolios and they turned out perfect.

I got a ravioli make for a Christmas and i made about 100 raviolis and they turned out great. of course, i made a meat filling. It sealed them nicely. I haven't tried a cheese filling. i am looking for a good recipe for them. but I am totally satisfied with my product. Thank you Kitchenaid. Also my husband bought me the ohter three attachments for my mixer. to roll the dough out I also made spaghetti. they turned out great too.

Very Slick Attachment

Very slick and effient way to make ravioli. Each pocket is about 1.25"x1.25 square for filling. When you fold your dough sheet in half, be sure to give your fold a nice pinch to creat a sharp crease. Then adjust the ravioli stamp/rollers so your creased edge will be outter edge of your first row of ravioli pockets. This is the key to getting the ravioli to pass through the bottom of the press without bunching up. Smooth sailing after you master this starting step.

Do not buy!!!

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He has since used it 3 times and every time he ends up making them by hand anyway. This thing crumples the dough and makes a mess of the filling. Complete waste of money!

2/5 ravioli make it out

I’ve tried the roller time and again and it seems to end up a big mess every time. I’d say only 2/5 ravioli make it through. I’ve been quite disappointed in the product.

Works perfectly well

Guys, don't rate your own inability. This attachment works perfectly well and produces gorgeous ravioli if you are capable to do a proper pasta dough. And nothing is easier than producing full-size sheets with the Pasta Roller attachment.
