Love this soup - thick, loaded with content, not just broth. If you are going to buy a ready-to-eat soup, this is as good as any. Concentrate (that you add water to) and dry soup are a better value, of course. Sometimes, I eat this right out of the can without heating it - it is that good!

Bought this because it was on sale at my local Sam's club. After trying them out I see why there was a markup on these. This soup brand is just way too salty for my liking and isn't even that good. I rather just buy the individual soup cans at the store than buy this bulk.

The soups (both flavors) are just okay. There's not much meat in either can of soups. We have eaten 6 cans. The chicken and dumpling soup has a bright and tasty flavor, but it's mostly broth. The broth of the chicken pot pie soup is thicker, but this soup has an unpleasant aftertaste. I rescued these soups by adding a sauté (of a pat of butter, a small chopped onion, 1 tooth of garlic, 2 sprinkles each of Italian seasoning & onion powder, 1 sliced carrot, a handful of chopped, cooked chicken breast meat, and a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar) for each 2 cans of soup. I probably would not buy it again. It's better to make my own soup.

Marie Callender's Chicken Variety Soup did not disappoint. Excellent taste and consistency. Great on a cold day in Ohio. The nutrition for one can is acceptable although the sodium content could be reduced but it is still doable if counting sodium milligrams in your diet. The serving size is actually, one can. I believe the posted amount on this website is for the 8 count package. I would definitely recommend this soup.

I noticed that the label had a suggestion to try the soup over mashed potatoes. I did and LOVED THE RESULT! The Chicken and Dumpling soup has nice pieces of chicken, peas, dumplings, corn and even some broccoli along with a terrific tasting gravy. Don't have a clue why someone would give these soups less than 5 stars. LOVED THEM!

Thick and creamy, full of chicken and veggies. Just wish SAMS would stop the practice of sending damaged cans for online orders!

My FIL gifted this to us and at first I didn’t think much of it because it was canned soup you know? Well I was surprised! Very creamy and thick. My fiance isn’t a soup guy and he really enjoyed it and wants to purchase more when we run out.
