it's okay but nothing exciting. it's not bad, just kind of bland without a lot of flavor. I added sea salt, cracked black pepper and Tabasco sauce which improved it but I won't be buying it again.

Bought this today to try because there was an Instant Savings of $3.50...Another great buy ! Soup is very delicious! Trying over biscuits next time we have it.

I have been searching for a good chicken and dumpling and chicken pot pie soup for a long time! None of the brands at other stores have been good! I decided to order this since these are two of my fave soups! Wow, did not disappoint! Tastes homemade and is absolutely delicious! Price is about $1.30 a can which is a great deal!

First, no lift top lid. Annoying but I have a can opener. Tried to open it and it took me 15 minutes to get the top opened. My can opener is manual but robust. It is not the wimpy kind. I thought I was going to break my hand just trying to turn the darn thing. Cut myself a little bit but finally got it opened. The soup itself is alright. It’s too thick and salty for my taste. Tried a couple of cans and probably donate the rest to the local food bank. It is not worth me buying a high end can opener or risky my hands to get this soup.

Conagra think they're slick with their smartlabel con-job, not posting the fact that their foods are bioengineered. Being deceitful will hurt your brand. Years ago I loved this soup. I used to only get autoimmune flareups after severe virus illness with high fever. Since about 7 years ago when food processors began using bioengineered foods without telling us I've had constant autoimmune flareups and responses, The only thing that seems to help even a little are extended cleansing diets. You people are starving me to death. SMH God's watching.

Love this soup - thick, loaded with content, not just broth. If you are going to buy a ready-to-eat soup, this is as good as any. Concentrate (that you add water to) and dry soup are a better value, of course. Sometimes, I eat this right out of the can without heating it - it is that good!

Just had the Chicken and Dumplings. Plenty of good vegetables. Very few dumplings and minimal chicken. Taste was bland. Good consistency of the sauce. I'm thinking it might be a good base for a recipe calling for a thick sauce. Bought it for the Marie Callender name. The taste needs to be enhanced.

Bought this because it was on sale at my local Sam's club. After trying them out I see why there was a markup on these. This soup brand is just way too salty for my liking and isn't even that good. I rather just buy the individual soup cans at the store than buy this bulk.

The soups (both flavors) are just okay. There's not much meat in either can of soups. We have eaten 6 cans. The chicken and dumpling soup has a bright and tasty flavor, but it's mostly broth. The broth of the chicken pot pie soup is thicker, but this soup has an unpleasant aftertaste. I rescued these soups by adding a sauté (of a pat of butter, a small chopped onion, 1 tooth of garlic, 2 sprinkles each of Italian seasoning & onion powder, 1 sliced carrot, a handful of chopped, cooked chicken breast meat, and a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar) for each 2 cans of soup. I probably would not buy it again. It's better to make my own soup.

Marie Callender's Chicken Variety Soup did not disappoint. Excellent taste and consistency. Great on a cold day in Ohio. The nutrition for one can is acceptable although the sodium content could be reduced but it is still doable if counting sodium milligrams in your diet. The serving size is actually, one can. I believe the posted amount on this website is for the 8 count package. I would definitely recommend this soup.
