First of all, no pull top lid? Seriously? Having a pull top lid doesn't sound too serious unless you don't have a can opener (like me at work). Every other major soup brand has pull top lids and it's annoying that this product lacks this feature. As for the soup itself, it's okay. It's tasty enough but nothing to write home about.

Chicken is as dry as wood. Pot Pie soup tastes sour and grainy with strange texture potatoes, brown peas, and dry wood chicken. Dumpling soup is a tad better but with pasty globs of mush, brown peas and dry chicken. What a waste and cans are bent and difficult to open with can opener. No pull top lids.

We liked these, but the chicken and dumplings was the better of the two. The chicken pot pie tastes very similar, but substitutes potatoes for the dumplings. It tastes a bit bland to me. A little chicken bouillon peps it up significantly. The nutrition info looks pretty good for both of these. I would definitely buy this again.

Yuck! Not even close to what I was expecting. Flavorless metallic slop.

Marie calendar makes great soup.
