I have a senior in high school and he rarely gets up with enough time to eat breakfast. This is an easy and tasty way for him to get his vitamins and breakfast in the morning.

I like the chocolate flavor a lot, and it’s very smooth, just a heads up this drink has canola oil for people who like to know! It’s easy to drink and take on the go which I like, and it’s an easy way to drink the vitamins I need for the day!

The container makes it have a weird taste, and I generally avoid these type of containers bc of it. The 4th ingredient is canola oil.. that’s crazy. Just buy the kind you mix yourself bc it tastes so much better. This is just not it. Pretty bad.

The flavor was really good and I felt like I was having a treat. I will be getting these again and I highly recommend Carnation Essentials

However, it would be a decent option if I was in a rush and needed something quick and easy with some nutrients! The flavor is like chocolate milk, a little sweet for me but not bad.

So I was a little concerned that it wasn't enough to get me through the day. Next on taste: it was very smooth drink and felt rich in nutritional value. It's not as sweet so that was good. And it seemed like an easy thing to drink for the morning commute to work. After drinking it in the morning, I was surprised that it got through breakfast and by lunchtime I was ready to eat. Overall: it seemed like a good value and the simple drink is worth it.
