It has 36 g of carb and only 10 g of protein. You need to add more food that “breakfast” to get the right portion of protein. Also has 11 g of added it sugar. Taste is not very good.

I have an Autoimmune Disease called Behcet's Disease. Sometimes I don't feel like eating or I think that I should have something more substantial and I reach for my Breakfast Essential in Creamy Strawberry. I actually crave the wonderful taste. I can't thank you enough for coming up with a great tasting product for someone like myself. I just wish that it came in larger bottles. I already have recommended this product to anyone, everywhere. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this drink when it’s nice and cold, it’s so creamy and doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste like some do. My son didn’t like it but he’s not a fan of sweet stuff. Though the flavor is yummy I do wish it had a bit less sugar. I could only drink half a bottle at a time because of the sweetness. We’ll be buying more and trying out other flavors. Oh maybe even trying it in the freezer so it gets icy. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

I'm usually very busy in the morning so having a grab on the go drink that is tasty and good for my health is important. The chocolate flavor is rich but it's kind of too sweet for my taste. I wish they could be a little bit less sweet then it'll be perfect!

There’s great added vitamins and proteins but lots of added sugar. Definitely not an everyday drink.

My brother was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer in 2020. Needless to say it was an extremely difficult year for all of us. Nothing prepares you for watching your only sibling battle such a brutal disease. After an entire year of surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and endless doctor appointments he was fighting just to keep his weight up. These have been a saving grace when it comes to getting him proper nutrition. He can't stand the taste of the nutritional drinks they offer at the hospital and chemo makes it hard to stomach real food. I now buy these every week when I go to visit him and his two little boys, who love these drinks also! Thank you for making such a wonderful product, it has truly been a life saver!

Thankfully, he is always thirsty in the morning so he will actually drink Carnation Breakfast Essentials without any problems. I like that he gets everything he needs in a good breakfast and he likes that he he can have his breakfast while he is getting ready for school in the mornings just by drinking it. The flavor is great. This is a win-win for our household.
