[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time consumer of the Carnation Breakfast essentials packets, so was excited to try another variation. I was a little hesitant to try it as it is a shelf stable drink like any other breakfast shake and the taste varies big time by brand. I decided to refrigerate my drink before trying it. It tastes like a shake I'd buy at the drive through! It has a smooth, rich taste. Who doesn't love a chocolate treat for breakfast that is giving you some of the nutrients you need to start your day.It keeps me satisfied for a decent amount of time as well.

It’s a great way to start your day!! It’s good for on the go when you don’t quite have he time to eat a full breakfast. Size is convenient for carrying.

I always keep some on hand to take on the go. It's packed with calcium and vitamins and allows me to have a nutritious breakfast with no effort even on my busiest days.

It was very creamy, I like that I was actually able to taste the strawberry flavor. But most importantly, it's packed with the protein, and vitamins I need to start my day.

A nice alternative when you’re looking for something similar to chocolate milk but with more benefits. It has a great amount of protein in it and I appreciate its packaging! The reason why I knocked off a star was because of the added sugar, although that’s probably why it tastes good. As long as you’re not overdoing it, it’s a great drink to keep on hand during breakfast emergencies.

This berry flavored breakfast essential is the best tasting one I have tried to date with strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry come together in this drink with a creamy refreshing finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright, if you’re looking for a breakfast drink with some protein to get your day started, this is actually a pretty good option. It isn’t a huge drink which I do wish was bigger because it is really tasty. It has a very rich chocolate flavor. I hate when a chocolate is very mild but this one isn’t. It’s a very deliciously rich chocolate. The small drink does contain 10grams of protein which is pretty good in my opinion! My only complaint is with how small the drink is, it does contain quite a bit of sugar and is 240 calories. Not as a bad as some sugary coffee drinks though. Not mad about this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product from Influenster and Carnation in exchange for my honest opinion. I recieved milk chocolate. It doesn't have much of a vitamin taste to it which is good. You can get your nutrition on the go for and age except young children at 240 calories, triple the amount of vitamin D in milk, 10 grams of protein, us vitamins and minerals. It is gluten-free and gives recycling instructions since it is coated cardboard. Sugar ir a bit high at 11 grams. I think they could do a dark chocolate to get away with less sugar, not sure about the milk chocolate I have. It won't doen smooth and creamy, not too thin or thick.
