In the past year the flavor is not as rich and seems way too salty. The saltiness has really interfered with the great flavor i used to get in my recipes. Had to discard food several times because the saltiness was overwhelming. I am now looking for a lower sodium mayo with the rich flavor.

I'm glad to see, well not really, that others are experiencing the same with Hellmans mayo as I am...at least I know I'm not losing my mind...I've noticed the last few times I made a sandwhich something just didn't seem right...the thickness and flavor of mayo was the missing ingredients, even though I didn't forget to spread it on...it was quite apparent today...when I opened the jar which hasn't been opened very long and has been refrigerated it was nothing but a mass of oil at the bottom...even after mixing, it just ran off of the knife I was using as if I was trying to spread soup...did someone take over the company and didn't receive the original recipe...please try to retrieve it...thank you...

Make a turkey leftover sandwich, follow these intructions, it has many names.... get a perfect piece of Italian bread, that fits your definition of perfect... slice it long ways. ... dig out some of the white bread in the middle. .. spread an even amount of Hellmans on both sides. ... layer of turkey on the bottom half, pepper.... layer of cranberry, hopefully homemade, layer of stuffing, not to thick. ... cover, smash it together..... EAT. .... welcome to turkey day on a roll. ... only with Hellmans. ...

You can deny you have changed the ingredients all day long, but the true test is in the taste and it is NOT the same Hellmann's. I'm 75 and have loved this mayonnaise all my life. First of all when you look at the jar there is a greyish color to the container. It is no longer an ivory color looking at the jar. Just that alone is off-putting. I thought it was me; thought I had let my mayo go bad. NO - the taste is really bad and then I read some comments that others made online, and it confirmed I was correct. This is a real shame. I now have to find another mayonnaise. Not sure I'll find one with the taste as good as your original product, but hopefully it won't taste rancid. It's always sad when a great brand changes the flavor of their product. And this was truly the very best mayo on the market. I ask you: have you actually tasted your product? Because if you had, you would surely agree with the people who have noticed and contacted you about this terrible new taste. I have one 15 oz jar left. Although it was very expensive to purchase, I am throwing the unopened jar away and will no longer be a customer. Goodbye Hellmann's...

I have been buying this brand of mayo for years, but the addition of the mess free bottle really ups the game for me. My kids love to make their own sandwiches and sometimes the jar ends up getting messy.....and their knife or hands get messy......and it made it hard for me to let them be independent and create their own meals when they wanted. So, this bottle is a lifesaver for me and it makes them happy, too. We also took the bottle camping with us and LOVED how great it was to use when you didn't want to dirty one more item to wash later. All and all, I'm very pleased and will be buying this on a regular basis. Thanks for making a great product even better!

The new design is wonderful. You get as much product as you want without the mess!! The tip never gets caked in mayonnaise. The taste is amazing as well. It's truly the best on the market. I've always been a Hellmanns girl, but honestly this new design has confirmed that even more. I love the convenience of just squeezing it out rather than having to use a knife to spread it around. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new squeeze bottle.  I always hated digging the last bit of it out of the jar and getting the residual stuff on my knuckles.  I would throw the last bottom of it out just to avoid the mess.

Why oh Why have you changed the Hellman's Mayonnaise product? Why would you drastically change a product that was so successful? Why would you think that consumers would like to eat GREY mayonnaise? Also the texture is thin -- not thick like it used to be. Our family has ALWAYS only used Hellman's mayo and now we are switching to another brand -- As we do not like the "New" Hellman's mayo.
