Perhaps there is something better out there, but I have yet to find it. Until someone can show me a better mayo, I will continue to use Hellmanns! Unlike some other reviewers I have not noticed any change in flavor, so if there was a change in the recipe, I had no idea. I don't think I even know anyone who will even USE anything other than Hellmanns, so you must be doing something right!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been eating Hellman's since I was a child and It is the only one I will purchase as an adult for my family. It tastes the best and makes the best salads and makes every sandwich taste the best. It has a great texture and consistency. I am sure it will be the only mayonnaise that enters my adult children's houses in the future as well.

Over the past 1.5 years, I have noticed a significant change in Hellman's Real Mayonnaise - the consistency is much thinner, more like a thick soup, and the taste is non-existent. I was hoping these changes were a temporary fluke due to someone falling asleep at one of the switches during the manufacturing process, but new jar after new jar has dispelled that hope. I have no idea what caused these changes - a different formula or different manufacturing processes and guidelines or a combination of both. Whatever it is, it's apparent that the change is permanent. While I have been a satisfied and loyal user of Hellman's for more years than I care to admit to, I have purchased my last jar. A supermarket's house brand for a fraction of the cost can't be any worse than the current Hellman's.

I don't know why y'all had to change something that was perfect as it was. What is this oily, rancid tasting, slimy muck? I have been using Hellman's exclusively for 35 years but this change in recipe assures that I will never buy it again. I can only hope that someone comes to their senses and reinstates the original recipe. As it is, Duke's is an excellent replacement and has no sugar to boot.

Your recipe is missing some things. Use 2 boxes of frozen chopped spinach, three green onions added to the mayonnaise, sour cream, vegetable recipe mix. This will make it simply amazing. Other added ingredients to taste like water chestnuts, but the basic recipe is the best. Of course Hellman's is the only Mayo to use!

This is very delicious mayo Complements any dishes sandwiches, salads, or as a base for dressings. Perfect texture, perfect taste. The product is made from real and simple ingredients. I love Hellmann's mayonnaise but I just received a jar in my grocery order and it looked gray. I didn't realize until after I opened it that it was a smoke colored jar. It makes the product look gray- which is very unappetizing. If I hadn't opened the jar and looked at the product inside, I would never have purchased Hellmann's again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mayo container is very easy to hold.....Which makes it east to squeeze ... I also like the flip top...it's convenient and fast. As for the Mayo I wouldn't use any other...I have been using Hellmanns since the 1960's....

I don't know what has happened, but our last few jars have been terrible! This is not my mayonnaise! Hellman's/Best Foods has been a must have in our family for over 40 years and sadly I won't be buying it anymore. It tastes more like salad dressing with a sour twang and not the thick fluffy spread it has always been, it doesn't even have the beautiful what color, it now has kind of a yellow cast and is almost runny. Please bring back the original!!

I was a "Dukes" girl until I moved to New England. I was introduced to Hellman's and fell in love! However, something has changed and it wasn't a change for the better. Like another reviewer, I have thrown a jar or two away thinking I had a bad batch. Seems, however, that you, instead, have made some bad changes. Fortunately, I am back in the south and Dukes is available. As much as I hate it, I will probably switch because I don't like mayonnaise soup!
