Used Hellmann's for 56 years and will no longer use. It was a staple in our household long before I was born. But I only found out today that on the label, it says they use bio engineered ingredients to make the mayo. And I believe I found that it is only since 2016. What a disappointment! I just threw away the big jar and will never buy it again. What a shame! P.S. Bioengineered ingredients doesn't constitute "real mayonaisse"

You can deny you have changed the ingredients all day long, but the true test is in the taste and it is NOT the same Hellmann's. I'm 75 and have loved this mayonnaise all my life. First of all when you look at the jar there is a greyish color to the container. It is no longer an ivory color looking at the jar. Just that alone is off-putting. I thought it was me; thought I had let my mayo go bad. NO - the taste is really bad and then I read some comments that others made online, and it confirmed I was correct. This is a real shame. I now have to find another mayonnaise. Not sure I'll find one with the taste as good as your original product, but hopefully it won't taste rancid. It's always sad when a great brand changes the flavor of their product. And this was truly the very best mayo on the market. I ask you: have you actually tasted your product? Because if you had, you would surely agree with the people who have noticed and contacted you about this terrible new taste. I have one 15 oz jar left. Although it was very expensive to purchase, I am throwing the unopened jar away and will no longer be a customer. Goodbye Hellmann's...

Used the real mayonnaise for years to make ranch dressing. Just recently made ranch dressing and it tasted awful! Narrowed it down to the new mayonnaise. Smelled it and tasted the mayonnaise straight out of the jar and actually smelled like plastic and nasty. Go back to tge old mayonnaise. I won't buy this kind again.

I eat most anything that has Hellman's in it. I wouldn't make potato salad without Hellmann's real mayonnaise. As long it has Hellmann's it will be tasty and creamy without being bitter. I can't eat a sandwich without Hellmann's. Its perfect, with none of that strong vinegary taste of other mayonnaise product. It's one thing I will not substitute any other product for it.

I always loved Hellmann's, but the last jar I bought and just opened tastes different. I checked the label and I think it must be the soy oil they are using. How long have you been making it with soy oil and did I just notice. Also, the plastic jar is no longer crystal clear it is gray.

I'll use it in any container, however the new squeeze more out packaging is efficient and fun! My family was so pleased when I was selected to receive a complimentary sample for testing purposes through influenster. We have been enjoying it on sandwiches and burgers mostly. :) Highly recommend this product, the quality and taste is top notch!

Over the last year I noticed that I can no longer eat your mayo. I have opened a number of jars and I just don't like the taste anymore. I used to love mayo and only ever bought hellmanns. Now I am fine with the packets I get at the burger places, but when I use it out of the jar the taste I used to like isn't there anymore. Did something change or did my taste change? Is my body telling me not to eat it anymore? I have not tried another brand yet because I can't afford to throw out food.

This is from an 82 yr old persons..... Awful taste, Not the same recipe as it used to be.. It is runny... Who wants a runny macaroni salad or make a ham salad for a sandwich which ends up with a lot of watery substance in the bottom of the bowl.. This mayo no longer sticks to the macaroni. Even the sounds of mixing it with other items is not the same. What have you done with a perfectly good product...? I am now in search of another product that may come close to your old product. This needs some desperate help to get it back to what it was . The price is just out of reach for a lot of us. So my search begins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Hellmann's mayonnaise to trial and I genuinely enjoyed it. It had a smooth consistency, while also being creamy and slightly tangy. It paired well with so many different foods and dishes. Sandwiches, tuna fish, etc. I can truthfully say that this was better tasting than Miracle Whip, which is crazy because I've been eating Miracle Whip my entire life. I highly recommend giving this a shot. You might find yourself changing brands to Hellmans Mayonnaise!

Hellmann's has been the ONLY mayo that I've used my entire life. I have noticed a dramatic shift in quality in the past couple of years and the taste is now horrible. I can no longer enjoy mayo at all because the recipe or formula or something has changed with the Hellmann's original "REAL" product and it now tastes completely terrible, glass jar or squeezie bottle – doesn't matter they're both soupy and taste awful now, when did this change? can the original recipe be brought back? Is there another Hellmann's product that does taste like the original?
