There is no other mayo that is better. I think this is one of those products that you find a brand you like and you don't switch. I love the taste and the texture of this. I cannot make a sandwich without this mayo on it. You can taste the flavor vs the taste of oil with the store brand.

It's the only mayonnaise my kids will eat. I love how high-quality it is And that it makes everything taste so much better.

Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise is the mayo I have used all my life. I can't exactly compare it to anything else. Therefore, its needless to say I highly enjoy it. I mix it with ketchup for fries, always spread it on sandwiches and burgers, salad...anything you name it! 

Sometimes even poor people wont substitute the real deal to save money lol hellmann's real Mayonnaise will never be replaced by a store brand or ANY other brand. Its like substituting coca cola for RC Cola. Its just nasty and nothing else will do when you want a good tasting product

If you want light, add water and dilute it; if you want balsamic flavor, add balsamic vinegar, etc. Note that on the original, real sugar is used, but on the light, high fructose corn syrup is added. I'm more of a traditionalist and prefer the real thing.

I have been using Hellmann's for over 40 years. It is the only mayonnaise allowed in my house. It has the best texture, the best flavor, the best everything. I use it in salads, on sandwiches, I even make a chocolate cake with it. It is truly a favorite!

Why did you change formulas? Hellmans has been my mayo over 50 years. Now the texture is runny, taste is different and goes bad sooner. I really hope this changes, and you go back to the original recipe. In the mean time I'm learning to love mustard and the weight I'm loosing.

I received this product in the new easy squeeze bottle. Usually squeeze bottles give you big blobs of mayo that you then have to spread. This easy squeeze bottle gets rid of that! I can put it on my burger and don't have to worry about ending up with too much. The lid stays so much cleaner too. I typically use a different brand but tried this on my "regulars" and I'm making the switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new design is great! The shape and squeeze made it easy for my mother for has rheumatoid arthritis which makes it hard to hold things. And the stand up design keeps all the contents at the tip of the bottle for a quick squirt of mayonnaise on a sandwich.

The only mayonnaise that was ever in our house when I grew up in the late 30s, 40s, and early 50s was Hellmann's, so little wonder that it is the only brand ever in my house. I've tasted others, but nothing favorably compares to Hellmann's. Guess which brand is in my children's and grandchildren's homes? :) I don't remember exactly when, but I believe a subtle change was made in the ingredients and it's not one that we like. It doesn't now have the distinctly fresh, and specific Hellmann's unique flavor. The consistency is the same, so I don't understand the reviews saying it's runny or has a tendency to separate and not be thick and creamy. I buy only the (plastic now) jars, not the squeeze bottle type. Also, I don't buy the new Olive Oil, Light, Balsamic, etc. types, as I like only the Original Hellmann's I grew up with. This is the one that I notice a slight and unfavorable taste in, yet it still beats any other brand on the market. It is because of a change in ingredients, such as a different oil, or the GMO someone mentioned in reviews? Whatever it is, it detracts from the Original, which means it isn't TRULY the "Original." This is the only reason I don't give it five stars. Like so many have recommended here, change it back to what it was during the decades I grew up in, and then you will have the same mayonnaise that is passed down through generations. That's built-in marketing that doesn't cost you a dime! It wouldn't be very smart to interfere with that in any way now, would it? Loyalty like this can't be bought; it comes from consistency of product that people like. People will desert the brand very quickly if it changes in any way they don't like. Have the Hellmann's marketing department read every review on this board. It means survival in today's fickle shopping universe.
