My family has used Hellmann’s/Best Foods religiously for as long as it has existed. The light lemony flavor & texture is unmatched. However, the last few jars I’ve bought have had an odd, stale, off putting cardboard-like taste. Almost like it’s been sitting for a very long time, although the best by date is still a long way away. Very strange. I will probably switch brands for a while & come back to it to see if it was a fluke.

I grew up on Hellmann's and I'll use it till the end of time. No other mayonnaise can compare. Just the thought of a fresh tomato sandwich on homemade Italian bread smothered with Hellman's rock my world. I won't eat anyone's potato salad unless it is made with Hellman's. It's that delightful creaminess and eggy taste that does it all. Whatever spices are added just does the trick. Never, ever change your recipe. I use Hellman's on just about everything. While baking chicken, making devilled eggs, creating creamy dressings and dips, there's nothing like a dab of Hellman's. My favorite use is making my Homemade Dill Dip with Hellman's Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Dill Weed, Garlic and Onion Powder and Pickle juice. It has been such a crowd pleaser whether using fresh vegetables, chips, crackers or toasted baguettes. I also put it in my mashed potatoes. As I said before, never change your recipe.

I grew up eating hellmann's real mayo, my mom always made our grilled cheese with hellmann's not butter so it was only natural that I did the same with my children. None of us would ever even think of using another mayo. It's thick and creamy and undeniably delicious!

If I'm gonna eat mayonnaise I'd have to pick H Hellmanns Real Mayonnaise 87 ellmans.... I'm more of a miracle whip kind of person.... its just what I grew up on.... but I do like mayo.... it also has other great qualities.... it is also great for moisturizing your hair.... but it does make a great sandwich as well.

As a lifelong user of Hellmann’s I would like to know what the heck happened to the color of your product since the packaging became plastic. I almost didn’t purchase it because I thought they were spoiled Please work with your packaging company to improve. With thanks from NJ

Hellmann's Mayonnaise has the very best quality and taste of any mayonnaise I have ever used. I have tried many other brands in my 70 years and nothing can compare to Hellmann's! Hellmann's is what I call "Real Mayonnaise" as the other brands are not even in the running!

Hellman's original real mayonnaise is the only mayonnaise I ever use and I use it all time, from potato and macaroni salads, sandwiches (have to have it on my BLT). I even coat chicken breasts in it and then roll in bread crumbs and bake in oven. Chicken comes out crispy, yet juicy and flavorful. I've also tried making grilled cheese sandwiches with it in place of butter, comes out great.

I am 62 and have been eating Hellmans mayonnaise as long as I can remember. I used to argue with my mother, she wanted me to eat sandwiches and I refused to have anything on them other than hellmans mayonnaise. No meat, tomato, lettuce, just mayonnaise. when I make a recipe a friend gives me that calls for another brand of mayonnaise I use Hellmans, everyone says mine is better than theirs, I just tell them it's the Hellmans !!
