I don’t want to go on a rant here about naming products that aren’t that product because someone out there has to be special. There’s two ingredients in mayonnaise if you are making it from scratch. Egg and oil. So Mayonnaise without eggs isn’t vegan mayo, it’s a thick white goo that resembles mayonnaise. If you have to be special than make up a new word for whatever you are trying to fool yourself into believing is the genuine thing. There’s no vegan chicken wings either! Anyway, Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise is the only mayo I will buy on the east coast. And I buy it for just that fact, it’s REAL. I also get that any mayo you’re not making yourself is gonna have ingredients and preservatives to both stabilize and make up the taste profile the corporation wants. Hellmann’s Real has the consistency and flavor profile I believe a good mayonnaise should have. And Hellmann’s, mayo with garlic is aoli. Let’s get it right.

This mayo is light and easy to spread while maintaining a rich flavor. I have been reading reviews where people are upset with the "new recipe," but as a first time Hellmann's user I was impressed and enjoyed the taste. I do trust the long time users, but if you are on the fence about trying this spread - just go for it. My meals were great over the last week of testing this!

The single packets are very hard to open. You will fight with it. We give clients them and unless you have scissors 9/10 times you’re not getting it open. I’ve been using Heinz ketchup packets, my whole life, and I’ve never not been able to get one of them open.

It's said that misery loves company - and in this instance, I have a LOT of company - but it is of little consolation to my family. I am happy, however, to see that it isn't just my taste buds gone awry. After using Hellman's exclusively and religiously touting its superiority for some 45+ years, I will no longer buy it, use it nor recommend it. I, too, notice the changes in flavor, consistency and shelf stability and, sadly, Hellman's is no longer the product I've loved for a lifetime. Whether the changes were due to cost considerations, availability of raw materials, or changes in manufacturing processes makes no difference. I feel relatively certain the new formula was never presented to an independent focus group of dedicated Hellman's users. With all due respect, sometimes change is not for the better, as Coke discovered, and we must go back and reassess our actions. It appears that a legion of former Hellman's users, myself included, sincerely hope you'll do just that and bring back our beloved REAL mayonnaise.

Hellmann's mayonaise has been consistently going downhill over the past several years. The mayonaise is tasting more like artificial chemicals than a natural spread. I will be looking for a new brand of mayonaise, one that tastes fresh and natural, not like a synthetic chemical dressing. Very dissappointing!

I don't like mayo on its own but with garlic paste, and sriracha its pretty good on anything. Creamy and perfect for a sandwich that's too dry but I'm not a mayo expert so its really just as good as I make it with the other ingredients. Others seem to like it to tho!

Generations of my family will ONLY use Hellmans. It's a brand that's trusted to hit with deliciousness every time it's used. Whether it be on a sandwich, in a recipe, in a salad, you can count on it to be great every time! It doesn't get loose toward the end of the jar like other brands. It's keeps a perfect texture throughout. While I was given this mayo in exchange for my review, I would ONLY use Hellmans regardless. I have only positive things to say. I highly recommend this as the mayo to use for anyone who enjoys mayonnaise.

Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise is a pantry staple in our house. It is absolutely our favorite brand of mayonnaise. The taste is wonderful. I love that it is so rich and creamy. It is my family's favorite sandwich condiment. I appreciate its versatility. I use Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise as an ingredient in everything from salads to cakes. I like that Hellmann's is a socially conscious company. I appreciate that the jars are made from 100% recycled plastic. I also like the fact that they use cage free eggs in Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise. I would definitely recommend Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise.

I would like to know why Hellman’s has changed the jars making it look like gray mayo? It’s really nauseating to grab the jar out of the fridge and looks like gray mayo from the outside. I’ve used Hellman’s all my life and don’t want to switch, but I just can’t stand the grayness.

I love it, we all at home love hellmans mayo and use it for many different recipes from sandwiches, burguers, pasta salad, tuna salad, with crackers, potato salad and much more. Everything about it is delicious from flavor, to texture and consistency. The packaging as well is always well designed with its proper informative tags about ingredients etc. I recommend this product
