The last 6 to 8 jars of your real mayonnaise that I've purchased were noticeably goopier in consistency. The product is much runnier. I used to be able to lift out a mounded spoonful and not it is much softer and looser. I don't know what changed. I still like your mayo, but it's not as good.

Hellmann's is the only mayonnaise I use on everything, Sandwiches and especially potato salad. I tried all the other name brands and always come back to my Hellmann's. It's not sweet and it's not salty, it's just right. I love the original flavor but the other ones are good too, like the one with olive oil. You will always find a Hellmann's in either my refrigerator or can cupboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the new cap - the mayonnaise came out easily & not in a big "blob". The consistency of the mayonnaise was also good & as always the taste was great. Overall, I liked the new cap & the way it worked for me when I used it.

Something has changed in and it was for the worst. Been using only Hellman's for over 40 years and so had my Mom and my Grandma' s . Even though it would cost a little more no matter what we would go without something else to pay the extra and buy Hellman's, We used nothing else especially for Tuna , egg and potato salad. The flavor that once was , is not there anymore and it's runny once mixed. The flavor seems almost spoiled after a month or so after opening . Not sure what has changed , but please go back no matter the cost and make it and sell it the same way Hellman's used to be or you will be losing many , many customers .

I don't know why, but the recipe seems to have changed. For the past few months, Hellman's has not had the nice thick consistency as in the past - it is runny and very thin. It also tastes more vinegary than usual. I have been using Hellman's for 40 years and this is not the Hellman's I'm used to. Very disappointed

However, even tho Hellman's makes the best tasting Mayo ever the company should be ashamed for price-gouging - it costs two dollars more than any other Mayo!!! As well, Eggs have come way down in price yet Hellman's has NOT lowered the price of its Mayo!!!!!

Used Hellmann's for 56 years and will no longer use. It was a staple in our household long before I was born. But I only found out today that on the label, it says they use bio engineered ingredients to make the mayo. And I believe I found that it is only since 2016. What a disappointment! I just threw away the big jar and will never buy it again. What a shame! P.S. Bioengineered ingredients doesn't constitute "real mayonaisse"

I bought a jar of Hellmann's mayo a couple weeks ago. I haven't used this brand in quite a while, although it's my favorite, because it's more expensive than the store brand. But I thought I'd go ahead and get the Hellmann's this time. What a disappointment! They changed the formula. The consistency was more like a whipped mayo, being lighter and less dense. It didn't taste as rich as the mayo I remembered. When I looked at the label on the jar, I noticed that it contained 30 ounces. As I recall, a jar used to contain 32 ounces. Now that I've discovered that it's no longer superior to the store brand, I won't feel as if I'm missing anything when I go back to using the store brand.

Such an underutilized product! Mayo is fantastic for marinating meats and getting them nice and flavorful and juicy. Hellman's is the best for that! It has a nice rich flavor and is so fluffy and creamy. Whether a thin layer for making sandwiches better or using for a recipe, this is a huge staple.

Been bying hellmans for years not anymore unless they fix the problem. Went to pu a few jars the other day and they all looked grey instead of the usual color.Also the expiration date was much shorter than they usually were. The shoprite and stop ans shop brands taste the closest to the original mayo.
