In my opinion, Hellman's mayonnaise is the best tasting, best quality mayonnaise in America; and Miracle Whip is the best salad dressing; or at least they used to be. I only purchased these two products. However, when companies began using soy in their foods, the quality and taste these foods plummeted. Prices increased, size of containers got smaller and the food tasted horrible. I now search for and purchase mayonnaise and salad dressings that do not use soy by-products: i.e. oil, flour, protein, lecithin, MSG (which is derived from Soy). I do not know for what soy is good, but it is certainly not food!

This used to be my go-to and I still love the taste, but I prefer the Hellman’s vegan mayo or Seriously Good mayo. If the other two options weren’t there, this would definitely be the one I buy. Great flavour, creamy and makes a sandwich or potato salad 10 times better.

I bought a jar of Hellmann's mayo a couple weeks ago. I haven't used this brand in quite a while, although it's my favorite, because it's more expensive than the store brand. But I thought I'd go ahead and get the Hellmann's this time. What a disappointment! They changed the formula. The consistency was more like a whipped mayo, being lighter and less dense. It didn't taste as rich as the mayo I remembered. When I looked at the label on the jar, I noticed that it contained 30 ounces. As I recall, a jar used to contain 32 ounces. Now that I've discovered that it's no longer superior to the store brand, I won't feel as if I'm missing anything when I go back to using the store brand.

It made the deviled eggs amazing, so creamy and added just the right zing to them. We have a ton of left overs from an event and I am addicted to my Hellman's on a Hawaiian roll with roast beef, cheddar, and green peppers! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I can't tell you about the other types of Hellman's Mayonnaise but I can tell you all about Hellman's Real Mayonnaise. I grew up on it. I am in my 60s. So, I have used Hellman's for many decades. I have tried other brands like Kraft and store brands but I did not like them at all. I will never buy anything but Hellman's again. I even notice when sub shops use a different mayonnaise on my sub. It just doesn't have the same flavor. Now, maybe I just got used to the taste of Hellman's. Maybe that is the reason that I only like Hellman's. No, not at all. I am very particular about the flavors in my foods. I use spices in my cooking. I don't over spice, I choose exactly which spices to use in which foods and how much of each spice to use in a particular dish. I also use many sauces to enhance the flavor of the foods that I cook. What flavors you add to various foods either bring out the natural flavors, take away from the natural flavors, or overwhelm the natural flavors. It is very important to me to enhance the natural flavors without taking away from them or overwhelming them. This is what chefs do. I'm not a chef but I do care about how my food tastes. So, Hellman's always makes everything taste better. I use it on sandwiches, in macaroni salad, and even in the cakes that I make. Hellman's on tomatoes is amazing. You don't even need to make it into a sandwich. You can just cut up some tomatoes and put Hellman's on top of the slices. It really enhances the flavor of so many foods.

I have tried different types of mayonnaise even some of the fancy grandson nothing compares to Hellmann’s. They also have an olive oil brand hellmans and I really love it a lot. But this is my favorite go to for all of my tuna salad and chicken salad

This mayo is light and easy to spread while maintaining a rich flavor. I have been reading reviews where people are upset with the "new recipe," but as a first time Hellmann's user I was impressed and enjoyed the taste. I do trust the long time users, but if you are on the fence about trying this spread - just go for it. My meals were great over the last week of testing this!

I have used Helllmann's since I was little. I am now 70 years young. I have to say, when my husband who is an avid Miracle Whip eater, made the comment, his MW seemed "soupy" for some reason. I thought, leave it to MW to cut bake on Quality. Well to my surprise, 2 months later, I refill my Hellman's on my last grocery run, can I tell you how disappointed I am that the same thing has happened to my Hellman's ? You've changed something, going forward until you put it back the way it was. I'm done with Hellman's. I am putting this note on all my Social Media platforms, your supporters no longer count. How sad are you?

There are a lot of items I’ll get the store brand vs spending full price on the name brand, but mayonnaise isn’t one of them. I always get Hellman’s. I get the light one typically because it tastes the exact same in my opinion as the regular but obviously less in calories/fat etc.

I've been using Hellman's exclusively for over 50 years. I could make my own but there's no need. I am, however, disappointed to see the word REAL on the label is no longer in red letters which made it distinctive. Now the label is rather blah. Too bad not to add a little color to such an excellent product and let it stand out on the grocery shelves. Just read about the cage-free chickens and that's a step in the right direction.
