Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise is simply inedible since formula/recipe changed. Loose & runny. Taste is not the same & after opening & storing in refrigerator, tastes rancid after a short time. I emailed Hellman’s, but after reading all the negative reviews, I am sure they won’t go back to the Hellman’s we loved. I am not wasting my money on this product and will try Kraft Mayonnaise that receives good reviews. Possibly Hellman’s changing to soybean oil from canola oil changed their product. Plus are they watering it down to make more money?

Hellmanns used to be a favorite food since 1970s. The recipe changes have been noticeable and you've officially taken the amount of soybean oil too far. Sadly, Hellmans I have purchases my last jar. The mayonnaise no longer tastes like real mayonnaise. It takes like mushed tofu with a splash of salt and vinegar. Please make a classic version like the original of my youth. Remember when mayonnaise was made primarily from egg yolks, vinegar and oil?

I noticed the taste change before I went looking for others views. I would happily eat bread spread with mayonnaise and nothing else before but this new recipe just tastes off. I'm looking for another brand to buy. I can't place what the change in taste is but I don't like it.

I see that many reviewers applaud the squeeze bottle, but I find the bottle less than useful: it's too stiff to dispense the mayo, the bottle's color makes it difficult to know the remaining content, and the narrow opening makes it impossible to actually empty the bottle.

I grew up eating Hellman's Mayo. Its is simply the best mayo on the market. When I got married my wife tried to get me to try other brands to save money. She swore I would not be able to tell the difference. She was wrong every time. She even tried putting other mayo's into the Hellman's jar to try and fool me. Never! I love you Hellman's!

In my opinion, Hellman's mayonnaise is the best tasting, best quality mayonnaise in America; and Miracle Whip is the best salad dressing; or at least they used to be. I only purchased these two products. However, when companies began using soy in their foods, the quality and taste these foods plummeted. Prices increased, size of containers got smaller and the food tasted horrible. I now search for and purchase mayonnaise and salad dressings that do not use soy by-products: i.e. oil, flour, protein, lecithin, MSG (which is derived from Soy). I do not know for what soy is good, but it is certainly not food!

What can go wrong with Hellmann’s real mayonnaise that’s the best mayonnaise I think out on the market it’s thicker than other mayonnaise it’s not Roni is crafters or miracle whip it’s like Roni paste this miracle whip Hellmann’s is one of the best that’s all I buy I put it on everything I bake my chicken I put that on there Hellmann’s on there I make egg salad dumb potato salad anything I use only Hellmann’s mayonnaise I always get the big jar so it last longer but half the time it doesn’t great for parties great for anything so go and buy some today

When my daughter-in-law came for lunch, because of diet restrictions, I prepared tuna salad. She said “this is delicious! We use the same recipe, why is mine not as good as yours?” I told her the only difference is that I use Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise. She switched!

This is a staple in our house. I use to be a miracle whip girl, but not anymore. I have been using Hellman’s since I was a little girl. I just like how creamy and thick it is. The flavor is so mild that it doesn’t overpower your dish. I have tried other brands of mayonnaise, but the flavor doesn’t even come close. Yes I would recommend this product and I will be purchasing more when this jar is gone.
