[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the jar of mayonnaise to review. The texture is just the right amount of creamy. The taste is very flavorful it's great on sandwiches and in tuna salads and more. It doesn't have an excessive amount of oil.

The individual packet OMG I have a complaint about about those little packages of mayonnaise that you get from certain places the Hellmann’s package. They are so hard to open. It’s the worst design ever ,today. I ripped one open and it squirted mayonnaise everywhere because I had to rip it open with my teeth.  You can’t get it open otherwise. 

I grew up on the West coast with the brand Best Foods, I moved to NY and panicked when I didn't see Best Foods Mayo, saw a jar that had a like label, read it and was thrilled Hellmanns was the East coast name. Well after time..reaching age 45+ I suddenly couldn't tolerate mayo! No salads, no sandwiches nothing with mayo! Well FINALLY, at age 66 I can have mayo again, thanks to the new olive oil creation! I'd quit using veggie oil at age 40 and converted to Canola Oil and Olive Oil, due to gastric problems. Well now I feel 25 again I can have to treat foods I love, 'mato sandwiches, Mac salad, potato salad and mayo baked salmon! Thank you, I'm enjoy my favorite treats again! Your Olive Oil recipe ROCKS!!!

This is not, a good thing, at all. I see all the rave reviews, but, this is a horrible spread and it will kill you. This is loaded with calories, loaded with saturated fat, cholesterol, shall I go on? It doesnt matter if these calories are good or not. The fact is, this is really bad for you. You know it is, and so does everybody else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Helmand mayonnaise as a sample and we tried it this past Sunday in some home made coleslaw and it was great. My family thoroughly enjoyed it, I put cabbage and carrots in my food processor on pulse for a few mins added the Helmand mayonnaise with a pinch a salt and black pepper . Try it ; it's great.

This is a great tasting Mayo. Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise For a Rich Creamy Condiment Real Mayo Squeeze Bottle Gluten Free great quality for cost. Mayo in squeeze bottles is so much easier than the jar. Nice quantity for the price, good taste, better ingredients than some other brands. I've used it for family sized cold salads, and various other things. Best foods of Hellmans.

I use a lot of Hellmanns but not anymore. I make my own salad dressing which use to be creamy and thick. My dressing is watery and lacks the flavor it had. My mother is the one that told me to just use Hellmanns for the dressing. I made the dressing with Kraft Mayo and was tasty and creamy. By Helmanns Hello Kraft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a free bottle of Hellmans Real Mayo in their new upside down squeeze bottle. I Totally love it. Its so handy when I'm in a hurry. Pop it upen and squeeze them close it. Its always ready to go. No need to go dig out a knife to scrape the jar. Its great for when I;m wanting to be lazy to,, No need to go get the knife out of the drawer. HA,,,its a win win for me.

The only mayonnaise that was ever in our house when I grew up in the late 30s, 40s, and early 50s was Hellmann's, so little wonder that it is the only brand ever in my house. I've tasted others, but nothing favorably compares to Hellmann's. Guess which brand is in my children's and grandchildren's homes? :) I don't remember exactly when, but I believe a subtle change was made in the ingredients and it's not one that we like. It doesn't now have the distinctly fresh, and specific Hellmann's unique flavor. The consistency is the same, so I don't understand the reviews saying it's runny or has a tendency to separate and not be thick and creamy. I buy only the (plastic now) jars, not the squeeze bottle type. Also, I don't buy the new Olive Oil, Light, Balsamic, etc. types, as I like only the Original Hellmann's I grew up with. This is the one that I notice a slight and unfavorable taste in, yet it still beats any other brand on the market. It is because of a change in ingredients, such as a different oil, or the GMO someone mentioned in reviews? Whatever it is, it detracts from the Original, which means it isn't TRULY the "Original." This is the only reason I don't give it five stars. Like so many have recommended here, change it back to what it was during the decades I grew up in, and then you will have the same mayonnaise that is passed down through generations. That's built-in marketing that doesn't cost you a dime! It wouldn't be very smart to interfere with that in any way now, would it? Loyalty like this can't be bought; it comes from consistency of product that people like. People will desert the brand very quickly if it changes in any way they don't like. Have the Hellmann's marketing department read every review on this board. It means survival in today's fickle shopping universe.

Love this mayo. It's my go to every time I want to get mayo. Have one in my fridge right now, but too lazy to go downstairs and take a picture. It's affordable and does the job just right. Love it beside my pasta or as a spread on my sandwich 🤤🤤🤤🤤
