I don't know why y'all had to change something that was perfect as it was. What is this oily, rancid tasting, slimy muck? I have been using Hellman's exclusively for 35 years but this change in recipe assures that I will never buy it again. I can only hope that someone comes to their senses and reinstates the original recipe. As it is, Duke's is an excellent replacement and has no sugar to boot.

This is just the best mayo on the planet. I am in my 70's and I have tried many mayo's and salad dressings in my lifetime but none have been able to compare with Hellmann's. Hellmann's is my go to mayo always. I won't even try any new mayo now because I realize that none will compare in quality and taste. Hellmann's..... best mayo ever!!

The addition of water to mayonnaise is an attempt to cheapen your product with serious detriment to the quality. The reason people are complaining about oil separation is due to the addition of water. The egg is not enough to maintain the emulsion. I know all brands are doing this and you are just trying to keep your price competitive; however, the brand that reintroduces an all oil mayonnaise will probably dominate the market. Also, do not tell me the addition of water is an attempt to reduce calories. If that is true then you would have restricted this tactic to the light mayonnaise.

However, after using the product, this new bottle and cap design are both awesome. With this new design, you are able to squeeze out every last drop of mayonnaise in the bottle, which is great, no wasted product. With the new cap design, it allows you to have precision control over where and how much mayonnaise is squeezed from the bottle. The clean lock cap is also awesome because when you use the bottle there is no mess on the cap, so every time you open the bottle the cap is nice and clean. For years I’ve only used Hellmann’s mayonnaise because it tastes good and was well blended without any liquid separation. However, since it was reformulated, I’ve been very disappointed and frustrated with the excessive liquid separation I’m finding lately. It should never have been reformulated.

I have been a faithful customer of Hellmann's forever. It is obvious that Hellmann's changed the recipe and now it has an awful taste. Why can't they leave well enough alone. In all honesty, I am willing to pay more for the old taste. Why not give consumers the choice?

I love putting this on mostly everything because it gives it good flavor to everything. My kids enjoy this on their sandwiches -!; only like this brand.

Somewhere around 2015, Hellmanns Real Mayonnaise changed drastically. Be it from a change in ingredient or process or tooling or timing or whatever, it DID change and was simply ruined. It became whiter, thinner, non-eggy, oily-airy, less tasty, gaggy, detestable,...., comparable to a low fat non-egg spread, and seriously yucky! SO, now that we original Hellmanns lifetime die-hard fans have suffered our "real mayo" deprivation for about three years, can you please "invent" a retro-Hellmanns for us? Pretty, pretty please?! You may be lost to me, but you'll be forever in my dreams.
