The Hellmans brand is in crisis. Review after review has the same complaint as me: this is not the same product I’ve been super loyal to for decades. Hellmans is so iconic that it’s included by name in my family’s heirloom potato salad recipe passed down 3 generations. It is so runny now. Bring back the fluffy, almost jiggly thick mayonnaise. People are giving you legitimate feedback and you’re just gaslighting that the recipe hasn’t changed. Well your product/QC managers better hustle up and figure out the source of this problem because the last two to three jars I’ve purchased are off. I need thick mayonnaise for my recipes to work—goopy, liquidy does not create the right texture. It’s as if the recipe contains more water than previous. Maybe your suppliers are messing with you. Get into the stores and taste your own product for gods sake! If your jars in Englewood Cliffs are the same as years past then come to Colorado where I am if you have to, where I know it’s poor quality/changed product. Sad that you’re not taking your loyal customers seriously. If you admitted, we are getting complaints and investigating asap and taking this seriously, I would stick around. But I’m going store brand mayonnaise and not returning to Hellmans until your review section demonstrates this has been sorted out.

I love Hellmann's mayonnaise but I just received a jar in my grocery order and it looked gray. I didn't realize until after I opened it that it was a smoke colored jar. It makes the product look gray- which is very unappetizing. If I hadn't opened the jar and looked at the product inside, I would never have purchased Hellmann's again.

Used Hellmann's for 56 years and will no longer use. It was a staple in our household long before I was born. But I only found out today that on the label, it says they use bio engineered ingredients to make the mayo. And I believe I found that it is only since 2016. What a disappointment! I just threw away the big jar and will never buy it again. What a shame! P.S. Bioengineered ingredients doesn't constitute "real mayonaisse"

I am a 3rd generation "We only use Hellmans" family member, from a huge family of cooks. Our exlusive mayo does NOT taste the same. Nothing we make with it tastes the same, and we can all tell. What happened? This change-you're clearly not admitting-is NOT for the better. Please bring back your original recipe. We're already testing other brands. This new and not improved version will never do.

My family and I have been eating Hellmann's mayo for decades! Never ate any other mayo...didn't HAVE to. Hellmann's WAS the best. As you all know by now, the recipe has changed and for the worse. Told my sister in law not to bother making cole slaw anymore, it doesn't taste good with the new recipe. I no longer make potato salad either and for the same reason. There goes GREAT sandwiches now too! Threw out what we had in the fridge and returned to the store what was on the shelf in the pantry. Never thought I'd live long enough to see such an american tradition go bad...guess I'll just have to be grateful i've lived so long! LOL Hopefully, they're staging a come back of the original recipe...like Coke did when they made their mistake!

The My Hellman's Real Mayonnaise that I have been using for decades has changed, no longer white and fluffy, now it is yellowy and has a strange oily consistency. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to buy this much loved product because the new formula causes stomach cramping and diarrhea for those of us with an intolerance to something in this product. So disappointed and also sick I might add!

Some people use different ketchup some people use different barbecue sauces, but never in my life. Would I use anything other than mayonnaise. Everyone in the house loves this mayo we have both the jar bottle that we got for free and also we already have a stockpile of the squeeze bottles which we use with recipes as well as a dipping sauce as well as sandwich condiment this is our brand!

Hellman's mayonnaise is the best on the market . It spreads great on bread , Not so creamy that it drips . It feels very light and I can usually find it on sale at which time I stock up on it . This stuff is great in recipes . I saw one where you use mayo instead of butter to make a grilled cheese sandwich . I tried it and that is now the only way I make grilled cheese sandwiches . I have 3 jars in pantry . Time to start looking for sales again!

I have used Hellmann's for many many years. The consistency is like soup and the taste is not the same, I am so diappointed and thought it was just me. Maybe an old jar, nope. Please go back to the orginal way of making. I like the new jar. Only good thing I can say
