I've read the reviews, the news reports, the blogs, and Unilever's responses. I can't speak to what's happened at the source, but I'm absolutely convinced of what I've seen as an end-user. I bought a jar around Thanksgiving and when I opened it, it just looked....wrong. It didn't have that signature, dimply texture you could see on the top of the mayo in a new jar. And when I scooped it, it was clearly thinner. It wasn't spoiled so I used it and assumed maybe it was an older jar or something. The next jar I bought had the same problem. I'm willing to believe the public information people when they say the "recipe" hasn't changed. But something, somewhere, has. And any company that values it's product and it's customer base, should be looking into what that "something" is. Meanwhile, I'm going to have to look into who else might make a mayo closer to what Hellmann's used to be.

I absolutely love Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise! It is a classic choice for me. It has creamy texture and a balanced flavor profile. It's been so much easier having a squeeze bottle. My four year old helps make lunch now and we have one less utensil to wash. Summer time is sandwich time as we are home almost everyday. We also like to put it on grilled chicken.

All the others taste different and not in a good way. Hellmans has a distinct flavor that I like, that the competitors don't. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this packaging great in the fact that it was simple to use, did not require a knife and I was able to control the amount that was used and it went where I wanted it to go. The cap remained clean and it stores nicely on the door of my refrigerator. I would however, like to see the Light version of this product in the same packaging since we use that one more often.

I grow up eating Hellmann's on everything. When I was nine ( a long time ago) I would toast bread and spread the Mayo, that was my breakfast. I do not enjoy any other Mayo and will not buy any other Mayo. I still eat it everyday for breakfast, except I put it on Crackers. I refuse to change my ways, when it comes to my Hellmann's Mayo. Great brand, great quality. I can always rely on this brand to keep a staple like mayo in the fridge. Doing keto means I go through alot of mayo. You can add this stuff to tuna, egg salad, you can make dips and dressings like, pretty much do anything with it

I've used this mayo to make my delicious chicken salad and creamy potato salad. I know I can always count on Hellmann's Mayonnaise to make my creations the best. Hellmans really does the make the best Mayo out there! I could never even eat another brand and fake Mayo I never understood. Hellmans is thick and creamy and lasts a long time. It’s taste is authentic and what Mayo should taste like. They should call mayo Hellmans :)
