This is my favorite mayonnaise. I've used it my entire married life. 55 years. The problem I had was not with the product, but the handling of my order. My shipment was allowed to freeze, ruining two jars of mayo. I had to return it and Sam's was very good about refunding the purchase price. The next problem was that there wasn't a replacement at the store. I'm going to try to re-order and hope that the same thing doesn't happen a second time.

Makes all my recipes delicious and this is the only mayo we use since 1976, and we use it also as a condiment! I like to mix mayo/ketchup for my French fries and I make a copycat recipe of big mac sauce for my hamburger. I have tried almost every brand of mayo and we decided this was the one to keep. We also grew up on this mayo and it has never disappointed us!

Simply The Best Mayonnaise. You can waste a lot of time trying a better mayonnaise. I tried a dozen different name and store brands. Nothing is as good as Hellmann's/Best Foods. A couple of the other big names are edible, but nothing tops Hellmann's. The texture and taste is perfect and all others are not quite as good. It's very creamy and not too light, but not too heavy either. Hellmann's is best for tomato sandwiches (the ultimate test) and all recipes requiring mayo such as potato and macaroni salad. As far as this jar is concerned, it's pretty big so you had better like mayo. We do in our family so it's no problem. The wide mouth is very convenient for measuring. I waited till it was on sale, but it's a good value even at the regular Sam's price.

Best Foods (in the west) / Hellmann's (in the east) is THE ONLY mayo worth buying. Our local Sam's in western Colorado is now carrying Kraft in the store, which i will not buy. Luckily, Sam's still has the 1/2 gallon Hellmann's (same as Best Foods) available online for mail order.

Was in serious doubt about product when it was shipped during one of our early heat spells. Fortunately it was fine. I think that it should be kept available locally as this product does not fair well if left out in the heat. Most items that are made out of eggs curdle if exposed to too much heat.

The box was left in the sun on my front porch. I do not know how long it was there as I was away from the house when it was delivered. I haven't opened the jar yet, but the color does not look cream color but slightly greenish. I hope it did not spoil while in the hot sun on the porch.

I have made my mayonnaise in the past, and can't say that it was really any better than Hellmann's. Homemade mayo has tendencies to separate or taste oily. Hellmann's doesn't suffer from either of those problems. All in all, you won't be disappointed with this mayonnaise.

Over the years we have tried a few different brands. After going to our favorite sandwich store we noticed they had many jars of Hellman’s. We checked and they told us they only use this brand. We tried Hellman’s for our sandwiches at home and really liked it the best too. We like it the best and only use this.

Jar of mayonnaise was open and since it was over 100 degrees outside and mayonnaise was all over the container and box sent in I had to throw it out and Sam's Club said they couldn't refund me for my purchase. This isn't the first time items shipped were damaged during shipment with no help from Sam's Club

Glad to see the Hellman’s Mayo jar back. The 64 oz. is tough for single household and to use by best use date. The best item was the 2 30 oz. jars when you use to provide the Hellman’s. The squeeze bottles are not favorable because you can’t get it all out and windup tossing some out each time.
