Great product to have

The item was used! I bought this item for July 4th and received the opened box (I thought this is item returned). I am extremely disappointed about this and will never do this again. Hopefully, everybody doesn't make the same mistake as me. If you want to buy it, let go down to the store and avoid to order on the online.

Could not beat the savings. I shopped around and found Sam's offered the best deal.

Came covered in white powder. Poor packaging or low quality. I’m not sure

Purchased them and a month later one of the extinguishers read as bad. I will purchase extinguishers from somewhere else next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this quickly and very well packaged.Everything seems to be just fine, the gauge shows fully charged(in the green) and the pin is in place. I saw several reviews stating the pin was out when the unit was received, but mine came intact. It has a plastic bracket to attach to the wall but there are no screws. That wasn't a problem for me. I haven't had to use it yet (hopefully I never will) so I can't comment on that. Kidde is a good brand, so I'm going to trust that it will work as it should if need be. I think it's important to have several of these around the house just in case. I have Kidde brand smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms and they work fine, so I expect the fire extinguisher will also.

We bought 2 fire extinguishers, when we received the package, they were packed together. Someone had already broken the seal on one of the extinguishers, it had sprayed all over the inside of the box. Poor packaging and why did someone break the seal and package it anyway??
