best razor yt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical about this razor since I had tried so many before but I was surprised. It is very lightweight has a great grip perfect for my size hand. The shaving is very smooth and I don't have to go over same spot. I am just very pleased with this razor. My new favorite razor and from a very trusted brand. Thanks!

Gillette Fusion razor review 5*****'s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to rate the Gillette Fusion razor with 5*****'s because I really love it and will continue to use this razor until I find another one that works this well and is prices this well and leaves me as happy or happier after shaving...SO WELL!!! I have never had a "steady" razor to speak of and usually buy what ever is on sale when it comes to disposables, but that my friends is a thing of the past!!! I have fallen in love with Gillette's Fusion razor and plan on letting all my friends know they need to get in on this action as well, and that they WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! Great JOB GILETTE!!!! Happy Camper here :)

Redesign to Razor Heads on Fusion 5 is Terrible

I've been using Gillette Fusion5 blades for YEARS. They used to be the very best out there. The recent change to the plastic/rubber around the blades on the heads is terrible. It causes too much friction/drag, and prevents the blades from getting close enough to the skin for a close shave. This makes you use more pressure to get the blades closer, forces you to shave over the same spot over and over, and results in MORE cuts, not fewer. And you STILL don't have results as good as they used to be. Please go back to your old design or at least rethink the new one. I am searching for something new now after almost 20 years, because these are just plan unusable.

Worst

I have used Gillette shaving products all my adult life (50+). This Fusion is the worst razor and blades that I have ever used. I am very glad I did not throw out my Marc 3 Turbo, as I certainly will be using it in the future. The Fusion does NOT give a smooth shave and the razor is difficult to hold and adjust to my face.

Why did nobody tell me?

Up until last week I had been using 2 blade razors. My handle broke so I decided to try a Fusion 5. It was a revelation. The advertising does not do justice to to the experience. It is like wiping a soft piece of foam across your face/head and the bristles magically disappear.

Duller then a hoe!!!!

I get about 2, maybe 3 good shaves, and then just throw the refill away. Makes my shaves expensive. Thought I might have a bad batch, so I purchase more. Same experience. I called Gillette, and they sent me a coupon for dollars off my next purchase of the same product. Just exactly what I didn't need. My advice: Go to your regular pharmacy, and buy their brand.

With every razor Gillette makes we not only want you to get a comfortable shave, but get a great price per shave as well. To get the shave and blade life we expect wash the area with warm water and mild soap to help remove natural oils and sweat. This also makes hair softer and easier to cut. The best time to shave is right after a hot shower! Apply plenty of shaving gel, foam or cream to soften the hair and reduce friction. Also, be sure to shave in the direction of hair growth for a more comfortable shave, or against the direction of growth for an even smoother shave. Phenomenal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get the smoothest and closest shave I've ever had with the Gillette Fusion razor. My face stays smooth for a day longer than usual. Definitely a must have in my shaving regimen! Thank you #Gillette for allowing me to try this product for free! The refills are pricey, but i find that it's worth it for the results!I am definitely a repeat customer :)

Paying for a Mistake

Due to the higher cost of Gillette I tried Harry's razors and was disappointed with them. Back to Gillette I went. Instead of my customary ProGlide I bought Fusion because of the lower price.. Terrible mistake -- Harry's performed better cost-wise. IF I ever again buy Gillette it will NOT be Fusion.

Best razor I've ever used in my 20 yrs of shaving

A friend gave me one and it came with a blade cartridge refill. I used for the 1st time today and I'm very impressed. I gotta close smooth shave beard lined up perfect. Literally best shave and razor I've had in my whole 20 years of shaving. I started shaving at 15 yrs old I'm now 35 years old and nothing has came close to the shaving power ofGillette fusion 5!

Worst blade I have ever used!

I had originally bought another Gillette razor and was very happy with the quality of both the handle and the blades. After I used the last blade I replaced them with the Fusion blades. The brand new bland is so dull that it shaves like an old discarded blade. The old blades would last a few weeks, but the new blades are so dull that they only last a few days. I would get more use out of disposable razors than I am from these expensive blades. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this product and am very close to just throwing the rest of the blades in the trash.

We take great care in creating all of our razors. By using premium top-grade steel, each of your Fusion5 blades should last around a month's worth of shaves. A few days won't cut it for either of us. You can make those blades last that long by softening your skin and hair with warm water for around two minutes. This will make your hair and skin so soft that your razor should have no trouble cutting them with ease. If your hair is coarser, it can wear down the blades much faster.
