I have used the original Mach 3 razor ever since it came on the market. I have tried some of the so called improved versions and found them to be no better than the plain old Mach 3. I don't however like the price in recent years, it seems to climb every-time I return to the store. Get the hint Gillette (ha-ha)!!! All in all, in my opinion, It is the best razor on the market.

Mach 3 has been my main razor for over 10 years, I always thought it was the best razor in the world. But in the last few years, you have greatly reduced the quality of the cartridges, the new cartridge is enough for 2-3 times a comfortable and clean shave, after which it tears off your hair and does not shave cleanly. Perhaps you specifically reduced the quality of Mach 3 so that people were forced to buy newer and more expensive Fusion models. In this case, you better stop the production of Mach 3, because if you make it of such poor quality, then you do not respect your legendary razor and spoil its reputation.

It is lightweight, feels good in the hand, the refills are easy to find(and fairly inexpensive), and most importantly delivers a nice smooth and close shave.

Tested this on a weeks worth of beard growth to see how well it held up. Gave me a clean shave even with all the growth and never dulled. Was able to use this razor multiple times before it needed to be disposed of. Ultimately this would save you money. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 stars is because you don't get as close a shave as you might get with more blades but it was hard to notice that. All in all this is a great product that I would highly recommend.

The razors are great, the blades are sharp, & my skin comes away looking the smoothest ever. I forgot to mention that the blades stay strong even after being used for more than 10 times. Durability is key to a good razor and a good brand. Gillette is one of the best.

This razor does provide a smooth and very close shave. In fact, the closest shave I have experienced in 30 years of shaving. It does have drawbacks though. The lubricating strip disolves very quickly and you loose blade sharpness after about a week. The replacement blade cost is out of sight!

I've used disposable ones all my life and I have to say, I won't be going back. This gives a really close shave without causing the redness and discomfort that you can get from disposable razors. It's really sturdy as well, due to the fact that this is metal and not plastic. I would highly recommend you give this razor a try!

The blades are extra sharp which prevents pulling of your hair make me at almost effortless to remove any amount of hair from any area. The blades have a lot of space between them and the back of the cartridge is open to help you remove all of the hair that would normally get stuck in the razor. I have already recommend this product to many of my friends and coworkers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's small size is convenient for carrying. Works well in tight spots like around the ears or under the nose. Gives a smooth and gentle shave if your skin is sensitive. I am used to using a five blade razor so I didn't like that I had to go over areas more than I would have with a five blade razor. Overall not bad for like a travel razor but as day to day razor I would stick with a five blade.

Not only did it perform beyond my expectations it opened my eyes to know that there is a better razor out there. The closeness of the shave without the skin irritation was by far the best feature of this razor. The glide strips are a stroke of genius and keep working on the 15th shave as well as they did on the 1st. This razor outperformed my expectations and would highly recommend it.
