reply from Gillette

Faye, we're so sorry that you didn't get the smooth shave you were hoping for with our Mach3. Please know though that this isn't the quality we can expect. The best way to shave is the Gillette Way, which is to use warm water, a Gillette Shave prep, and shave against the grain using light and gentle strokes. Be sure to use a fresh blade if yours starts to feel dull. We'd like to help you achieve that close smooth shave, so when you're free, please call us at 800-445-5388.

My husband's favorite

These razors are great for men that experience razor bumps and or have sensitive skin.
