I understand Gilette is always trying to be the latest and greatest (and they do quite well at it), but I really fail to see the difference between this product and practically any other razor I've used. Is it better than a disposable razor? Yes, absolutely. Is it better than a much cheaper, mail order alternative? I don't think so. Also, it's a little frightening when you open the package to the razor and are immediately greeted with a $5 off coupon for blades. This shows me that 1) They know you'll need them soon and 2) They are overpriced.

Let's just say some other companies should stick with pens or just "Schtink". I have used Gillette ProGlide razors since their inception and have never been let down. I did not think there was any more room for improvement. I was wrong. The FlexBall Technology is remarkable. You literally cannot tell I even grow hair on my face after shaving. It's like it erases even the memory of facial hair. Amazing.

So, the test of a good razor for me is can I get a close, comfortable shave without the fear of cuts and nicks, and the razor passed this test. I was happy with the results of the shave. I would say that the razor performed as expected from an advanced cartridge razor. I prefer a razor with some heft to it. It feels like I have more control with a heavier razor. The all over look and feel of the razor was nice, although the ball feels gimmicky to me.

I used BzzAgent kit Fusion ProGlide Razor with Flexball Technology for the first time on Sunday and it was the best shave of my life. Very smooth, and clean facial hair cutting. Didn't pull on my face and made shaving quick, easy and almost fun with the flexball working with the contours of my face! Love the razor!

For my job, I have to be clean-shaven every day whether I'm at home or on the road and with restrictions on what you can take with you on a plane, I'm forced to leave my usual razor (a double-blade old-style safety razor) at home when I travel. Normally, I go for a Gillette Mach 3 as my travel razor, so I was curious to see what advantages, if any, the Fusion ProGlide Razor would present. Head to head with the Mach 3, there's no comparison and the Fusion ProGlide is by far the better razor. I found that it did live up to its name as it glided effortlessly over my skin, and the flexball did help a little in getting it to follow the curves and bumps of my face. Overall, it was a better shave than with the Mach 3. The only drawback to the Fusion ProGlide is that (like all disposable cartridge razors) there are a few spots on my face that need repeated passes in multiple directions because I can't force the cartridge to sit properly against the skin in those areas due to the head's springing. This is the only area that my normal razor works better in. Otherwise, it was as good a shave as I get at home. Bottom line - will I replace my existing razor with the Fusion ProGlide? No. Will it be my go-to razor for when I'm on the road? Definitely.
