[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as a free sample for my candid review. The first thing I noticed is how the razor sits nicely in my hand. It's balanced well and easy to hang on to during my shave. The flexball technology went against everything I thought I knew about shaving. Initially I was used to altering the position of the razor and my grip to manage my facial curves so it took me a little while to realize that with just the right amount of pressure applied, the blade and shields pivot to get a close shave at every angle. Here's what I couldn't get used to: the blades felt thinner than any razor I've ever used. They felt flimsy against my coarse manly beard hairs and if I was shaving body hair it just didn't rinse out between the blades as well as some of my other razors with thicker blades. Interestingly, it was my wife who ended up loving this razor. She liked using it on her legs, underarms, and bikini area because the flexball allowed it to followed her curves without needing to reposition her grip and made for a faster shave with zero nicks due to the ProShield. Also, the thinner blades gave her a closer shave and had no trouble removing her finer hairs. For now, I'll probably stick with my Gillette Fusion Proglide.

It's sharp, thus, only need two passes. If apply the 2-in-1 gel and heat the blades with hot water, you will have a clean shave without a razor burn. I recommend them.

The multi razor with gel strip easily glides over my skin without tugging or pulling whiskers. The gel strip helps to leave my skin hydrated after the blades give me a very close shave. The FlexBall allows me to shave more surface area without having to worry about the blades cutting at the wrong angle. This saves me time in the morning. It has been 9 hours since I have shaved with my ProGlide and my skin feels like I just shaved. I usually have noticeable stubble by now. I love the Fusion ProGlide Razor with FlexBall Technology and will continue to use it as long as I can. This razor is definitely a good value for the money. Before I buy a razor, I'm most concerned about how close of a shave it delivers. I can personally say the the Gillette Fusion Proglide razor with FlexBall Technology gives tough beards like mine a close shave.

It gives you a nice and clean shave. I usually had issues with most of the other Razors as they cause an allergy due to the scratching of the skin. But with Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor, I never had that issue. It seems like, it has not even touched the skin and not a single scratch. I will surely be investing in some refills of razor. And for the Shaving Gel, it gives a smooth and refreshing smell. When you apply it initially, it comes out as blue , when you rub it your hands it turns out to be white, nice and thick. And it is worth mentioning that, I never had to use any after shave after using the combo Gillette Fusion Proshield Razor with Flexball Technology and Shaving Gel. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the PowerGlide razor and it really works nicely and shaves close without cutting or irritating my face and head. I liked the idea that the FlexBall might even be an improvement over that, since it would pivot. While it works very well on the chin and jawline, I find that a regular manual razor just doesn't shave as closely as the powered version. Maybe had I not already been using the power version, this would have been great. It also irritated my head much more after two shaves than the PowerGlide. Compared to the Mach3 I used to use and still occasionally use on my face, this FlexBall is better. It shaves closer and conforms and follows your jawline much better than the old Mach3. I haven't used the cream yet, but will try that out at some point also.

While the razor is high quality and it did give me a close shave as I come to expect from gillette. I did not notice a significant difference between the rollerball technology and their regular fusion razor.

I was curious about how it compared to similar multi-blade products that I have tried. By far the best razor that I have used. It glides like a dream. No cuts, no pain. I have been using fusion proglide razors forever and this one with the flex ball technology is amazing. I even had comments when I went out about how close my shave was and that's rare. I would recommend this razor to anyone. I just found myself a new razor.

I am a current user of a Gillette razor, the Mach 3 and I didn't think that I could get a closer shave from a different razor. I was wrong. I am very happy with the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor. Because of the shape of my face, I have some stubborn spots that are hard to obtain that smooth feeling. With this new razor, I no longer have that problem. If you want to step up your game, try the new Gillette Fusion ProGlide. You won't be disappointed.
