I'm not a big fan of scents or colognes as it is, but thought I'd give this gel a shot. I do like the way the gel felt when I was shaving. It felt more cooling and moisturizing. I didn't get any nicks either. But that is where my appreciation ends... While those are the more important benefits, the scent of this particular gel was not appealing. It was rather feminine and the smell stayed with me all day. It did work great for my wife, but is not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I'll admit, the first time I saw the Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor with FlexBall Technology the "Beware: Gimmick" alarm went off in my head. I've had 3, 4 and 5 blade heads; heads that swivel, and handles that vibrated. So, heads that move left and right was just a natural extension, right? Well, when Gillette sent me their newest razor with its mate, the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel + Skin Care (Ocean Breeze), I had no reason NOT to try it out. After half a dozen shaves, including one with half of my face with my old razor and half with the new one, I have to say that the razor delivers one of the best shaves that I have ever had. My problem area is right under the chin line. That spot was shaved clean as was the rest of my face. The only shave that I had better was the one and only time I had it done at an old school barber shop (on a lark). The handle has a great look and a great feel. It has a nice heft and very good feel in the hand. Its also very easy to clean. The gel has an awesome smell (Ocean Breeze)and leave my face tingling a bit. My only complaint is that it is not a Cruelty Free product, and because of that I would never actually buy it. Barbasol is not tested on animals and so is my go to shave cream. If I was in the market for a new handle, I would definitely pick this one up.

The smell is not overpowering but my skin did not feel much different afterward compared to other products. It is still a good product but is not revolutionary. It is something I would still buy.

The scent is invigorating on those early mornings before heading out for the day and it allows your razor to glide through those curves like an ocean-bound vessel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review for the Ocean Breeze Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive Gel + Skin Care. In my review for the Gillette Fusion Proglide razor, I mentioned that I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. I felt like these products were made just for me, and was excited to receive both. First of all, the packaging for the gel is sporty and modern. The trigger is rubberized and feels great, and the nozzle twists from a locked position (where you can't press the trigger) to the open position which exposes the dispensing hole and allows the trigger to be depressed. This innovative dispense design allows for a clean dispense with no mess or waste and is a joy to use. The bottle is also rust-free and has a great gel gauge on the side which shows how much gel you've used. The only gripe I have about that is that it probably only goes 1/3 down from the top of the bottle, so it doesn't really tell you when you're almost out, just when you're 1/3 out. Now on to the shave gel itself. You just pump out a dollop onto your palm and rub it on to the face. It spreads smoothly and lathers beautifully. It makes my skin feel cool and refreshed, and prevent redness and irritation on my sensitive skin. It has not caused any acne in the few days that I've used it, and I can usually tell if a product is going to cause acne within the first 1-2 days. So far, so good. After shaving, I wash off the residue with some warm water, and my skin feels soft and smooth. It really helps achieve that close shave when used in conjunction with the Proglide razor. The gel smells great. I'm glad I got the ocean breeze one, as it reminds me of Hawaii...

It provides a very smooth shave from start to finish and you can feel it really hydrate the skin. I also noticed how smooth the razor glide was using this gel. After shaving with this I always feel very clean, soft and smooth. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to use a great new product for shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a disposable razor this is a pleasure to use. The grips are fantastic and the handle feels good in the hand no matter how you are holding it. The lubricating strip provides a cool, chilled feeling while you shave. The multi-directional movement of the head makes for a smooth, close shave with fewer strokes.

I have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving and I have a shaving cream that I have been using for years. But I tried it and not only is this shave gel great for sensitive skin but I have noticed a better shave with it. I feel that it takes longer to start feeling the stubble start growing back which is great. I also use less of the Fusion ProGlide gel when shaving. This stuff does spread so a little definitely goes a long way. The only issue I found with the shave gel is the lock on the top of the the can. Personally I don't need it but I would still like a cap.

It turns from the gel into a nice thick foam that when paired with the Fusion ProGlide FlexBall razor gives you one of the best shaves around. I especially like the cooling effect that the gel have, it is a nice little wake up call in the morning. My face feels great all day. The only thing I don't love is the cap on the bottle. While the twisting action is a nice way to lock the bottle and prevent spillage, the excess shave gel gets in there, hardens and cakes up. Other than that minor flaw it's great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is pretty unique compared to other aerosol shave gels because of the fact that it does not make a mess by spraying out excess shave gel that is not going to be used. The scent was ocean breeze which I was not particularly fond of. I did notice that the shave gel was really mild and gentle on my skin it did not cause any irritation and made for a nice close smooth shave. I noticed less razor burn and ingrown hairs with this shave gel then others I have tried before.
