My first impressions were that it had a great rust-free packaging and a unique, no mess cap. The gel itself had a pleasant, masculine fragrance that wasn't overpowering. As I was lathering it on my face I noticed a light cooling sensation and that a little gel was all I needed for a great, close shave. As a guy with sensitive skin, I really enjoyed the way this shave gel left my face feeling smooth and not irritated at all. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to try a new shave gel.

Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive 2 in 1 Shave Gel is the best shaving gel I've ever used. The gel comes out smoothly and is easy to apply. It doesn't triple in volume so you never feel like you're wasting it - a quarter size dollop covers all of my face and neck. It feels creamy and comfortable throughout the entire shave, and the ocean breeze scent is a nice change of pace from other usual scents. The gel hydrates the skin, and the blade easily slides across my face, so there's no irritation, even when I shave against the grain. The gel rinses away easily and doesn't clog my blades, which is very important to me. Even the can has been designed to maximize comfort and efficiency. The gel comes out cleanly every time and the bottom is plastic so it'll never rust. Perfect shave gel.

I predominantly use shave cream these days, but in a pinch I would go back to gel for a product like this. Its as if it contains after shave properties all rolled into one product. The scent is fantastic as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so let's start with the straight out of the box thoughts. Looked awesome, great design. Then, it was time to put it to the test and its a dud. The gel dispenser doesn't work... Twist the head, push the button still nothing. Beat on the can and nope, so into the trash it went. Back to my old gel. Now time to test the proglide razor. First shave was a smooth shave. I normally shave every 3-4 days depending on work schedule. This shave was 2 days in, so not as rough as normal. Did great, a little pull but nothing horrible. Gave a smooth shave. Next time, 3 days later, back to regular schedule. Little more uncomfortable than the last time, and more pull than what I get with my Mach 3. 4 days later, 3rd shave with the new proglide, only did 1/2 of my face before I decided I missed my old razed so into the trash it went and pulled out the old Mach 3 to finish the job. The rest of my shave was much more comfortable than how it began. This package was about for me.

The razor is very comfortable to use and glides across my face so smoothly not missing a hair! It has never left me with any nicks or razor burn. Between the razor and the shave gel it is a great combination. The ocean breeze shave gel has a great smell to it, enough scent to leave you feeling fresh but not over powering. I shave my face daily and have not experiment any irritation at all with these two. I have been recommending these 2 products to all my guy pals. I'm waiting for my wife to steal my razor with how much I rave about the smoothness! Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok here's my deal on shave gels. I don't like them, hardly ever. There's just no consistency from one to another. Some need plenty of water to get some foam. Some slide right off your face. Don't don't come out of the can right, too much or not enough or the can won't empty. So it's almost always been foams for me. Barbasol did good as did Gillette' s Foam. Add some warm water for less friction. But Gillette Shave Gel changed my mind on this. It comes out in a controlled amount. You can shave right off the bat, without adding water because it provides glide for the razor without the warm water. And it sticks to your face, no sliding off your neck. It seems very economical because I can use a very small amount for a shave. And the can has a good lock for travel (which I did with it. It got all the way to Mexico with no mess in my travel kit.) Like I said, Pro-Glide Shave Gel changed me on foams. Lubes right out of the can without water, easy to use and easy to clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Gillette Ocean Breeze Shave Gel and I'm not turning back to my old shave gel. My old one was Gillette Fusion Gel which is also a great product but not comparable to this one. My skin never felt so fresh and smooth. It actually "tingled". It is easy to use. Instead of a cap to remove, it has a locking cap which is easy to operate. If you haven't tried it yet, get out and try it because you're missing out on something good.

That being said the 2-in-1 Gel is no exception. The closeness of the shave and the scent really set the 2-in-1 apart and not to mention the state of your skin after each shave. Gillette has done it again and I'm glad I got a chance to give it a try.

I have pretty sensitive skin and usually most razors cause major skin irritation, I love this shave gel and razor! Its Amazing left my skin silky and smooth with no irritation. Not to mention the smell that ocean breeze left is great. My wife cant keep her hands off my face.
