Customer reviews for Gillette Sensor2 Plus Lubrastrip Pivoting Head Disposable Razors, 52 ct. forSolid disposable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm become a razor miser in my later years. I used to spend a lot of money on all the new Mach 12s and 13s as they came out with the pivoting vibrating heads. I also have awful facial hair. It’s course plus grows in difference directions. To get a close shave daily, I need to shave 3 times. Down, up then from ear to chin. It eats away at these blades and my skin. I finally gave up on these costs and, because of BzzAgent, went to an electric Braun for quite some time. But after a while, as much as I wasn't paying for blades, electric shaves just don't satisfy me. After a few years, I decided to go with a safety razor. The blades are cheap and sharp. All good things you want from a razor, right? Yes, but there are downsides to this jugular-cutter which I am reminded of daily and only highlighted after using the Gillette Sensor2 Plus Pivoting Head Men’s Disposable Razor. Having the two blades is awesome for the redundancy factor. If some lil hair avoids the first blade because it was hiding in the shaving cream, the second one cleans it right up. These blades also seem to be the perfect sharpness. Not one cut and unlike my current system, I don’t need to go movie slow. Shaving should be a relaxing, steam-room experience. But it’s not. It’s something shoehorned into my morning. Being able to get a quick shave in without needed TP stuck to my face after is a positive in my book. Second, the lubricating strip is another feature I terribly miss. If I go over an area with my safety razor that isn’t properly shaving-creamed up, you feel it immediately and have some nice razor burn to show for afterwards. This strip also helped as I could do a second swipe, even in a different direction, without having to reapply shaving cream with no issue. Skin and time saver! I only have two small issues with this blade. First is the weight, but that is because I am used to something heavier. Heavier seems nicer to me. Second is “long use”. Again, I have awful hair and beat up and blade I use. I tried using the same blade a second day in a row and it did not feel as smooth and was worried I would chew up my skin so I threw it out. In the end, I’m completely impressed with this blade and will definitely buy a pack to keep in my travel bag.
Two is all you need!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My beard is somewhat like a professional athlete- it simply doesn't like being cut! Over the past few years I have been using blades from one of the many monthly razor delivery services with so-so results. Do those razors work? Sure but not to the level I prefer. These Gillette Sensor 2 disposable razors cut closer with less irritation than my current blades and last just as long. I can get a solid week from just one razor. For years I believed 4 or 5 blades were needed to get the job done- it's just not true. Blade quality and sharpness is key to a close shave. Try these blade and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
Gillette Sensor 2. Plus Men’s Razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Gillette Sensor 2 disposable razor with pIvoting head yesterday. This morning I decided to try the razor for the first time. I noticed that the Gillette 2 disposable razor was very light weighted with a ultra grip handle which gives the razor great control . The razor also has a pivoting head which contours to the shape of your face . The razor gives a clean shave no nicks. The Lubrastrip with aloe makes the razor glide easily on your face and has a great scent. I really like the Gillette 2 Plus Pivoting head disposable men’s razor razor and I would recommend to my friends.
Just ok for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are ok and get the job done. Easy to grip and seem durable. They just don’t seem as sharp as they could be, so I’ve had to make more passes over my face than I’d like to resulting in slight discomfort. Obviously a lot comes down to user habits - I’ll admit I don’t clean/wet shave often (I prefer consistent stubble). I’m sure if I used these regularly, my skin would acclimate better so these would work better with less passes. I’ve used better disposable ones but these are ok and may work really well for most people. I just prefer a good safety razor anyway.
Nice travel/disposable razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great value for your money with this product. Lots of razors for a low price but high enough quality to last through lots of shaves. It's a little small in my hand but not as tiny as some others. I really like the rubber grip.
Awesome Razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great Razor, it shaves closer than other disposable razors. The handle is great and I like the lubricating strip that is on there. The strip makes shaving easier and gently glide along my face while moisturizing my skin.
An excellent razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who uses disposable razors a lot, I’m so blown away. These are excellent quality, and makes for a close shave. I’m not even getting that many ingrown hairs. If you pair it with a good shaving cream it will be the perfect shave!
These are great 👍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These razors are great. The textured grip handle helps to hold a good grip on the shower. I know these are for men but they would work great for a woman as well. These do not work or feel like the dollar store throw away razors
A Reliable Shaving Companion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who values a smooth and comfortable shave, I was eager to try the Gillette Sensor2 Plus Pivoting Head Men’s Disposable Razors. After using them for a few weeks, I can confidently say that they live up to the Gillette reputation for quality and performance. The first thing I noticed was the pivoting head, which adjusts effortlessly to the contours of my face. This feature ensures that the blades maintain close contact with the skin, resulting in a precise and even shave every time. The twin blades are coated with chromium, which not only enhances their durability but also provides a consistently close shave without the need for frequent replacements. One of the standout features is the water-activated Lubrastrip. This strip releases a lubricating substance that allows the blades to glide smoothly across the skin, reducing friction and minimizing the risk of irritation. As someone with sensitive skin, I found this to be particularly beneficial, as it left my skin feeling smooth and comfortable after each shave. The soft Ultragrip handle is another highlight. It offers excellent control and a secure grip, even when my hands are wet. This makes the shaving process more comfortable and reduces the likelihood of accidental nicks and cuts. In terms of longevity, I was impressed with how long each razor lasted. I was able to get up to five shaves from a single razor, which is quite economical for a disposable product. The resealable packaging is also a nice touch, keeping the razors clean and organized. Overall, the Gillette Sensor2 Plus Pivoting Head Men’s Disposable Razors have exceeded my expectations. They provide a close, comfortable shave with minimal irritation, and the pivoting head and Lubrastrip make the shaving experience smooth and effortless. If you’re looking for a reliable and affordable disposable razor, I highly recommend giving these a try.
Great shave from Gillette Sensor2 Plus
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Gillette Sensor2 Plus Disposable Razors for several days. At first I was a little skeptical as I’ve never really tried a razor with just two blades. I had previously been using razors with 3 or 5 blades. I was surprised at how well of a shave I was able to get from this razor. The razor felt comfortable to hold in my hand and was easy to use. I did however notice that after 3 or 4 days it started to irate my skin. I’ve very familiar with Gillette and their line of disposable razor. This razor is another example of the quality razors they produce. I would definitely recommend this razor.
