for me, the lead in a good pencil does not break when sharpening; the wood smoothly peels away when sharpening too; these are good pencils

I like Ticonderoga Premium Wood Pencils, Unsharpened %232 Lead, Yellow, 24 Count but the box was open and some pencils fall off or missing.

We purchased these for our children for school. A lot of teachers have reccommended this brand. They sharpen very nicely and even!

The school requested the pencils, same one my son used years ago l do believe. Longstanding reputation.

Not that great when using a sharpener. Like a little chunk of wood always tries to chip off. Other then that the eraser is really soft and good.

The best pencils. The only pencils I will buy for my kids. The eraser is great too. Doesnt leave smudges

I have always wondered what was so good about these pencils it was always on my list so i got them this year and they are awesome

Best pencils for school! Had to sharpen them before sending them to school but saves you money and gives your child something to do. Hah!
