These are the pencils I have been using for the past 50 plus years and I would recommend them over any other pencil for even sharpening and no smudging

For some reason, the yellow Ticonderoga pencils have a softer lead than the black ones. Not sure what the difference is. I like the darker ones much better. They last much longer

My 12 year old daughter requested the Ticonderoga pencils for Christmas. She says the tips are softer than the other brand. Alas, a gift that does not punish my pocketbook!!

These are the best pencils ever. No other pencil can compare. As a mom of 6, we go through sooo many pencils and these really are the only ones worth buying. Teacher recommended, kid/parent approved

Favorite pencils by far. They last a long time, sturdy for gripping at different ages (think preschool and kindergarten learners gripping tight while upper elementary learners hold it looser) and the eraser is fantastic.

You can’t go wrong with these pencils. I used them in school and now my child is using them in school. I will continue to buy this brand of pencils for years to come.

These are flat-out the best pencils available. They sharpen well (ever tried to sharpen those cheaper brands? The entire pencil disappears into the sharpener!) and last 5X longer than cheaper pencils.

Ticonderoga pencils are the only pencils we buy!!! they write so smooth, sharpen easily and the erasers never smudge. having a favorite pencil may sound silly but once you use these you won't go back!

Perfect! I bought these for my daughter to take the ACT test. I was worried about the erasers, but they’re the best erasers. Everything was clean, no smudging.
