So when sugar in the raw sent me this sugar, i was actually Excited to try it. I quickly made myself a lavender tea, and used only one packet of sugar. One packet was enough to sweeten my tea. And it was a perfectly sweetened tea at that!! I noticed that one packet contains 20 Calories, which is pretty good in my book. Also noticed The sugar has a long shelf life, but I don’t think it’s going to last me that long, lol the taste is so much better than your average sugar. I will definitely be using these quickly.

Besides that, I'm not sure I can confidently say I know the difference between the two. So I looked it up. They do not bleach the sugar, and it has a sweeter molasses flavor to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sugar in the Raw is NON-GMO and naturally gluten free. It taste amazing, unlike refined sugar it has not been processed. It has its natural golden brown color and has a richer flavor like molasses. You don't have to use as much and it makes what ever you use it in taste richer. I prefer it in my coffee, but it is a little expensive so I don't recommend using it in something that calls for cups of sugar like baking. But if you wanted to make something like sugar cookies or molasses cookies and sprinkle on top it would be good and it is a larger grain of sugar. Definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like making mug cakes every once and a while. I used 2 packs of these to add a little sweetness to my mug cake. The sugar crystals are a little bigger than other sugar, so I’m not sure what it would be like if it wasn’t in a baked good.

The texture was different for me, this product comes in large granules so I had to stir it up quite a bit and ensure it melted. But overall great sweetener and I will use it again.

Unfortunately, I used agave to keep it on the rim, which didn’t stick (I should have used honey)…but the sugar crystals were perfect! Loved the flavor and texture—perfect for topping off dessert breads or adding to coffee.
