Sugar has a natural starch content that retains the natural sweetness of cane sugar. This helps create a unique and more pleasant flavor than regular white sugar. The texture was not for me either. I personally don't have any need for this over just regular sugar

I’m an avid coffee/matcha drinker and make one everyday for myself. These were packed in the most perfect serving size for a cup of either. 💭 Experience: The sugar melted pretty easily and added the perfect amount of sweetness to my daily cup of joy. I love using it as an alternative to traditional white sugar. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a different kind of sugar.

I greatly enjoyed this sugar and especially like it in my morning coffee. It has a subtly molasses-y flavor and has more depth than regular white granulated sugar (in my opinion anyway). I like that it is less processes than regular sugar as well. I know it is quite a bit more expensive than regular sugar. However, for little things like your morning coffee, I think it is absolutely worth the added cost. I will be purchasing for the future. You should try it, it’s delicious!

I love sugar in the raw much more than regular sugar. The taste is amazing in coffee and it’s my go to sugar now.
