They do absorb but I don't really like the product because when you leak, the pads have an effect like glue and it hurts when taking them apart!

These are they best. Affordable, and they really soak up a lot. I wore the same one for a day and a half, and it never leaked.

These are my favorite. I will not use another nursing pad. They keep me dry. And they stick to my bra and do not come off.
