It’s color safe so you can use it on colored clothes. It’s also fragrance free and good for people with sensitive skin. It brightens white and color clothing.

I am basically allergic to everything, should have been raised in a bubble, and this product added to my laundry has kept my colored clothes looking fresh and new, while keeping all of my clothes cleaner and safe on my skin! I have two children one 11 and the other is 16m. I started using the free and clear when my oldest was diagnosed with eczema. Because of her sensitive skin I needed something that would be gentle on her but actually clean the clothes, it worked awesome! When my youngest was born I didn't hesitate to use this product with all her baby clothes from newborn to present. I will say this, I never had to throw away a single piece of clothing because of spit up or juice stains!

My son had a minor head injury, with a lot of blood, the night before his 5th birthday. He got blood all over his favorite, white, monkey shirt. He shed more tears over ruining his shirt than he did over the head injury. I poured Clorox 2 Stain Figher & Color Booster Liquid Formula (Free & Clear) directly on the stains when he returned from Urgent Care and threw it in the wash with my regular detergent. Not only does it remove odors and stains, but it also cleans and brightens too. I didn't realize until after trying it that I could use it so many ways. I can use it to pretreat stains, use as a presoak, or just add directly to my Wash. Either way, this stuff works. I appreciate the Free and Clear, no dyes or perfumes which sometimes can be overwhelming. This became a new staple in my laundry room.

There is no strong smell and the texture is thick and holds well when washing. I used a capfull on her white clothes and it removed the dull washed look.
