This product damages the rubber seals around the fasteners that secure the toilet tank to the bowl. The rubber is crumbling and flaking away, and water leaks from the tank. There is no warning on the product packaging that this may occur, but a telephone call to Clorox customer service resulted in their acknowledging the problem and refunding the purchase price. Repairing the leak requires disassembling the toilet tank from the bowl and replacing the seals and fasteners--not a pleasant task. I do not recommend this product.

These may help to keep the bowl clean but the smell of bleach is so overwhelming that I literally get a sick feeling every time I enter the bathroom. I will have to say that I have a very sensitive sense of smell. My husband doesn't seem to notice it as much as me. Even so, I'm going to try to return the unused portion.

I just started using these and boy is the bleach smell strong, almost way to strong. BUT it also caused brown streaks in my toilet bowl (not fecal either). I am now reading that these stains are from hard water which our city is really bad. Anyway, I am reading DON'T us bleach as it will make the rust stains worse. Which is interesting as I lived here 17 yrs and never had visible rust stains. And just with the use of 1 Clorox tablet I now have very noticable rust stains.

The larger size sold at Sam's is a great deal and worth the price for a 6-count. We have 3 bathrooms and we are on well water, so it's difficult to keep our toilets clean all of the time. This tablets with bleach make a huge difference in keeping the toilet bowls fresh and sparkling.

This product definitely kept my toilets clean. However, it ruined the insides of all three of the toilets. I had a brand new toilet put in and had to replace the tank about nine months later because of this product. I had two different plumbers tell me these tablets were the reason and to never use them again.

I live where the water is hard and leaves mineral deposits in the toilet that collect debris when flushing. I have to do monthly vinegar treatments to dissolve. I decided to try these Clorox Toilet Tabs to help keep my toilet clean in between treatments. To my surprise, not only is it keeping my toilet spotless clean, it dissolved the mineral deposits along the water line and in the drain hole where my brush couldn't reach. It also leaves a clean smell in my bathrooms where a room freshener is not needed. It has eliminated the need of the monthly vinegar treatment. Overall, these tabs exceeded my expectation.

We have 4 full bathrooms and 1 powder room that we use these beach tablets in for approximately the last 12-14 months. Each of the bathrooms are used numerous times daily. I recently found water on the floor in one of the bathrooms, surrounding the rear of the toilet, and after a close inspection of the toilet learned that all of the toilet's tank components seals were all disintegrating (the fill valve seal, flush valve tank seal and the two tank washer seals on the bolts that secure the tank to the bowl ). After finding the one toilet leaking, I immediately went and inspected all of the 4 remaining toilets and unfortunately found each of the others in the same condition, one of them was actually started leaking also, just not to the extent of the first one. I now have to replace all 5 toilets internal components (fill valves, flush valves and mounting bolts) because of using these tables. If we were out of town and this toilet started leaking and the fill valve continued to attempt to refill the tank this leak could have resulted in some very serious water damage. I would strongly recommend NOT using this product.

With our extremely hard water these are a must in our tanks. Without them we end up having to deep clean them more often. I have bought and used other “bleach tablets” previously and they don’t compare to the Clorox brand. They are a great deal price wise compared to buying anywhere else.

It’s helped keep a lot of the hard water build up off the toilets and you can smell the bleach every now and then. The price point is a bit much for me at this point but hopefully it goes down a bit! I’ve had better ones in my toilet like the cheap blue ones but these will do in a pinch!

Warning: these bleach tablets will degrade the rubber parts in your toilet tank. I used therm for about 6 months in a toilet; the flapper which was virtually new when I started using them had degraded to the point that the hinges had come apart. Please Google "Bleach tablets in toilet tank degrade rubber parts" and you will find out why not to use these. They will also degrade the rubber gaskets that attach the tank to the toilet bowl. Expensive to repair!
