Regrettably, they destory the rubber ring and you have to replace every 8-10 months. The second time it happened was enough. So wish you could correct that.

I have to use Clorox® Toilet Bowl Cleaner - with Bleach even with two of these in the toilet tank. The water only shows signs of the tablets functioning two out of the ten times that the toilet is flushed. Even when it is functioning, depending on the bacteria left behind by others, which we cannot always control, the tablets are ineffective at rinsing away congesting bacteria. I like to leave the toilet bowl cleaner on overnight to wake up with clear sinuses. I didn't know that the residue of other's toilet trips were keeping me up at night. I don't recommend this for the office, just because of the combination of a wide variety of people and different diets and behaviors associated what is considered edible, e.g. while one person would not eat meat that was defrosted five days ago, someone else might, and continue to eat it even if they did not like the way it tasted solely based on their experience of not having problems eating prolonged unfrozen meat in the past. The residue of one person's bacteria can literally clog up the sinuses of another while doing nothing to the person that released the bacteria, while the bacteria of the other person consuming/ eating fresher foods may make the other person just as ill. I would recommend more than one product for use in commercial settings rather than household. These tablets are a household product. I find the In-Tank Automatic Bowl Cleaner to be just as bad and dangerous because they are the color of mouthwashes and Windex.

It works really well, and I like that it isn't blue. I like the fresh clean smell. I don't like that it ruins the flapper. Every few months the toilet starts running and I have to replace it. So I stopped using these a couple years ago and haven't had to replace the flapper since. I miss having fresh toilets all the time, though.

I have been using these bleach tablets for a couple years and absolutely loved them. However, literally all of the rubber components and valves inside of my toilet tank have disintegrated to dust due to the long term exposure to these bleach tablets. It's been very frustrating having to replace all of these parts. My toilets are only a few years old, so the rubber should still be holding their integrity. I am no longer going to use these because it's a bigger pain to replace all these toilet parts then it is to actually clean the bowl.

Warning: these bleach tablets will degrade the rubber parts in your toilet tank. I used therm for about 6 months in a toilet; the flapper which was virtually new when I started using them had degraded to the point that the hinges had come apart. Please Google "Bleach tablets in toilet tank degrade rubber parts" and you will find out why not to use these. They will also degrade the rubber gaskets that attach the tank to the toilet bowl. Expensive to repair!
