So - you spend the $9 to get the best chlorine-resistant flapper, instead of the $5 cheapie that doesn't last long. They have the good flappers at Ace, Home Depot, etc. No big deal, and no plumber needed! Its easy-peasy to replace toilet tank flappers.

Clorox tablets really helps eliminate the ring that sometimes accumulates in the toilet bowl . Additionally the smell that sometimes accumulates in between cleaning is eliminated.

Works its wonders from the tank, if the bowl doesn’t have the clean smell or generates black spots’ add a new tablet. I’ve found it best to use a quality flapper in the tank.

These tablets do a great job keeping the toilet clean. Only reason for 4 stars is I don’t know how the toilet innards will hold up after using them for a longer time.

This product has caused serious damage to our toilet within just two days of use. After using the product, water is now leaking from the toilet onto the floor. We regularly clean the bathroom floor every other week and have never experienced any water leakage from the toilet before. Today, while cleaning the floor, we noticed water around the base of the toilet. When we wiped it up, the water was yellow and had a strong bleach smell. It appears that this product has caused damage to the toilet and may have affected the seal or other components. We are very concerned about further damage to the toilet and flooring. We need immediate assistance from customer service to resolve this issue.

Such strong smell of bleach you can smell it into the next room. I thought after a day or two it would not be as bad but it was just as strong. It will make your eyes water if your setting on the toilet. I removed it but I definitely believe it is strong enough to eat the rubber seals inside.

Works well but don’t pour rubbing alcohol into the bowl with bleach compound it can cause cloraform vapors. ( harmful to breathe)

These tablets are now hollowed out on one side like a cupped baseball bat therefore increasing the need to replace them. I will no longer be purchasing this product after at least a couple of decades of buying them. A pool supply store with chlorine tablets is just as effective.
