I’ve tried other toilet tablets (the blue ones) and they caused black mold to grow in our tanks. After scrubbing that out with vinegar, I went back to the Clorox tablets.

I purchased this item because I have purchased it before in stores. But this quantity and price was great. I love not having to swish my toilet bowl the bleach scent also makes a nice benefit.

I feel the toilet stays very clean, but it doesn’t replace using toilet bowl cleaner and brush. You must do that still. It does leave behind a slight bleach smell.

I have used these for years and they do the job with soft or hard water. Pay attention to your flush valve because I have experienced the bleach tabs can eat away at them especially if they are old.
