If you can find this in the club, go ahead, but don't have it delivered. Not sure if FedEx is the problem or the people at Sam's warehouse. Every single can was delivered dented and the outer packaging was torn. Now I have to decide if it's worth the risk to use them, or take the hour round trip drive to the club to return them.

I've always thought I hated canned refried beans. I tried these for my husband's breakfast burrito since it was the only one available here in West Texas. These beans are awesome and I will be shipping them to my house after we transfer back to Louisiana. I can seriously eat these cold out the can, or use it for bean dip.

Good beans for a quick main or side ingredient. NO INFLAMMATORY SEED OILS. That is the best thing about these beans. Yes the have lard, which is our preferred fat to seed oils. Sam's Club should show the ingredients on this website. Usually they arrive with plenty of dented cans, though, so be ready for a mess. I buy these for long term storage, so dented cans are not acceptable. We cook pintos from scratch but keep these canned beans in rotation in our pantry as well. Very good, easy, tasty.

The cans came dented! This is s a concern for storage. Beans are great.

Do not buy has natural flavor added and this is when they use the aborted fetus in our food . Look into this and make your own decision whether natural flavoring is what you want in your food

Traditional refried beans do not contain distilled vinegar, chile pepper, onion powder, spices, garlic powder other than lard & salt. These are non-traditional. I grew up eating these at almost every meal in the 50s and 60s and eat occasionally now. If bacon grease was available, that was added to beans and fried. Hard to find "Traditional " beans.anymore.

Best price i found. Perfect if do not use lot beans . Large cans always dry out before i use.
