While the cost per quantity (value) is there, the quality is not. This my 2nd box because I thought the 1st was a fluke. They are dryyyyyyy and smaller than ini previous years. If your only using them for banana cream pie or other such crusts or toppings ok. But as a snack? No thank you.

If you have trouble keeping yourself from attacking a single box of Nilla wafers...just think about bringing home TWO in one. I know so many folks will talk about how great the product is for banana pudding and other delicious deserts, but you can't keep us out of the cookies themselves. YUM!

These cookies have been around longer than me and that’s a long time. I remember eating them with my mother as a child, spooning them out of a coffee cup with milk poured over them. That’s not to mention the banana pudding or putting peanut butter between two of them. Oh well, it takes me back to simpler, happier times so I bought them and they are still delicious however you want to eat them.

These cookies taste stale, there's no other way to put it. They are NOT crisp, and they don't taste like the Nilla Wafers from the past. We bought 2 big boxes of these to have for grandkids, and Papa enjoys them too... or he used to. Not THESE ones. Both boxes are the same, as are the ones from the grocery store. They aren't making them good at all, and writing to them about it got me NO RESPONSE at all. NOT HAPPY.

Nilla needs a new cook. N.A. is o used to be the fresh perfect vanilla wafers. The only best ones. Now the crust is beat off in the box, the cookies have lost their round shape. It’s like genetics in the box. It’s not just a box. It’s every box in last few years. What is different cause they are not what they used to be.

Well due to the manufacturing madness to keep up with demand ,you might find some of the wafers are broken ! Be of good spirit & use then for banana pudding or shingles on the gingerbread house or mouse cookies!! Use your imagination or let the kids have a fun time eating them!

Nilla is not the Nilla we remember as kids. They're still good, but not the holy grail of cookies that they were in the world before the ban of trans-fats. Nevertheless, if you want good, southern banana pudding, there is no reasonable substitute. So...you just have to suck it up and buy these. Oh, for the old recipe to return.

While this is truly a great value on nilla wafers, you'll find they take a pretty good beating during transit. I mostly use these wafers for pie crust and such so I don't care how the cookies look but if you're looking for perfect nilla wafers to showcase your culinary creations you may have to do a bit of sorting to get enough cookies that all look the same.

Crumbled cookies are what you will receive. Shipping makes them even worse. You are better buying them in a grocery store and if you wait until they are bogo or you buy the generic ones it will be about the same price but should get much less of a smashed product.

I bought vanilla wafer cookies thinking that I was going to get a banana pudding made out of them but thay was so delicious and so fresh and good they got eaten before I could even get a banana pudding made from them my daughter said maybe next time Mom because she was the one who was supposed to make the banana pudding so my plan is to buy banana pudding mix and vanilla wafers so she has no excuse thank you Sam Club.
