[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's said "ultra soft and strong", I don't know about the strong, but it's definitely not ultra-soft at all to me. Besides that, it works just fine as a normal toilet paper.

We have been loyal QN Soft & Strong users for many years, but like other users, we were absolutely shocked at our most recent package. It was not much better than what a cheap paper towel would feel like. Was there some terrible mistake, where cheap toilet paper got mixed up with it and was substituted in the packages by accident?? We hope so and will probably give it one more chance. Please correct this quickly!!!

We just bought quilted northern ultra soft and strong for the first time..it falls apart all over toilet and on your butt it's all over the floor little tiny white pieces of toilet paper we have never had this happen with any other brand and we will never buy again not strong at all, want to take shower after just peeing because leaving little tiny pieces.

I LOVE this toilet paper and am so so sorry that I can no longer buy it! I remodeled my bathroom and it didn't include space for a MEGA roll. I think people should have a choice between, at least, Mega or Double rolls. I would pick double and run back to Northern in a FLASH!

Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong is neither soft nor strong in my experience, contrary to the claims of the company. The first sheet that showed when I took the roll out of the package appeared quilted because I could see the pattern shown on the package and website. But after I removed the visible sheets (2 or 3 squares), there was no more quilted pattern. The sheets are rough and thin--the two plies immediately separate, making this tissue useless. This is one of the biggest product disappointments I've encountered in a long time. I would change brands rather than risk trying the luxury “upgrade.”

I will admit though my husband brought home a different brand for us to try a few motpnths ago and at first I thought it was ok, but then I soon found out I was allergic to it. And also thought why did he try to change a good thing. If it ain't broke don't fix it! I will never love another brand as much as Quilted Northern!! And the ultra plush I just tried, Amazing!!! Thank you for being the best!

I have been a Northern tissue fan for the past 35 years. However, my last double roll pack was so disappointing! The quilting which holds the two plys together is gone, so it falls apart, and it actually feels rough! If this is another attempt to save money, you have failed. I will be switching brands. Can't wait till this package is used up.

For over a year was saw specialist after specialist trying to figure out what the problem was. It wasn't until a quick-thinking nurse practitioner suggested she might be dealing with lint, you know, "down there", and it was causing a lot of her irritations. She suggested we switch toilet papers and, after a bit of research, settled on Quilted Northern. We have noticed less lint and many of her issues are starting to lessen, and her frustration with being constantly irritated began to diminish. After getting rid of her irritation problem we were able to get her to focus on the real issue, and we now have a proper diagnosis for her!! I thought the nurse was crazy, but after switching I'm convinced!!
