Sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your handle and thanks for letting us know. We have a quick fix to try, and if it doesn't work we'd be more than happy to send you a replacement handle. Sometimes, the internal threads get disengaged. To re-engage them, try sliding the red part of the handle half way down the middle gray section and try locking at that halfway point. If it does lock at that point, unlock again and pull the red part back to full extension and try locking again. This should reengage the threads and stay locked now.
