This mop was ok when i first got it. it didnt wring out the mop dry and the mop head alway bunched up and the plastic would scrape the floor. Doesnt pick up pieces of dirt to good. the mop strands become loose. Cant use the mop now it broke after 2 months pole wont stay up.company wants me to pay shipping to send pole back no way.. cheap copy of hurricane. I got the huricane and its WAY better. thicker mop head, wrings all the water out and cleans great.

I like the fact that it wrings the mop nicely so that you don't have to wait forever for the floor to dry. It gets into the corners easily and you don't have to get your hands wet by wringing the mop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] O-Cedar Spin Mop I was very happy to try out this Spin Mop and see if O-Cedar could make my life easier. I have had this mop for almost 2 weeks now and have cleaned every floor in my home a couple times. The mop comes nicely packaged and easy to assemble. I was happy that this mop is microfiber however I wish it was a little thicker, when I needed to apply a bit more pressure to heavier dirt I felt that the plastic middle would scratch my wood floors, although it didn’t I am a little concerned when using it on heavier dirt. The spin bucket is awesome especially for wood floors when the mop needs to be drier. Having the splash guard on the bucket was nice so no water spills on the floors. The bucket is a little large and may be a storage issue for some homes. I did not find that this mop is anymore absorbent then other mops I have used nor did I find it picked up more dirt. I used this on my wood, tile and laminate floors and it did a nice job. It is wonderful for corners and reaching under tables. Although I did not intend to use bleach when I was moping I did notice on the box it says “do not use bleach”. I occasionally do like to use a little bleach on my kitchen and bathroom floors so I would not be able to use this mop if I am using bleach. The mop head is easily removable to throw in the wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of pros and only one con to this mop set as far as I’m concerned. I might as will cover the con part first. The bucket is too wide and tall to fit in my ridiculously small shallow kitchen sink. If the kitchen sprayer would reach past the sink I could feel it that way but I have a landlord who doesn’t like to fix things. I mention this in case you have these problems yourself. Now for the pros, the mop head moves in a lot of different angles. I was able to use it to wipe baseboards straight up and down with no trouble at all. I don’t think that something I’ve ever been able to do with a mop. It also has a triangle shape to it so it gets into corners really good. The ease of the spin basket that is powered by pushing the pedal on the outside of the bucket is fantastic because you don’t get your hands wet and it does a great job getting the mop super dry when you’re all done. Well you’re mopping you can adjust how much it spins and get the right of amount of moisture.

I bought it because I have many of o-cedars other products. It worked okay at first. The main problem I see is there is no place to squeegee out the excess water. So my floor is soaked and takes forever to dry. Then after 3 uses the bucket started leaking where the petal is. Its not like I was hard on it by any means I live in a small place. I was disappointed returning it today.

I don't actually dread mopping the floor anymore with it, as I can simply press my foot on a pedal to wring the mop and not have to bend over or dirty my hands with unclean water. There is a fill line inside so there is no guesswork involved with how much water you can put in the bucket, a handle for carrying the bucket and a separate compartment to wring the mop, so it's not just sitting in dirty water. It makes it easy and simple to mop a floor! Dip, spin and mop! It doesn't get simpler than that! I seriously will not be going back to a regular mop so long as these are produced.

5’4 120lbs stepping on the pedal can be a bit tricky. make sure you don’t do it too fast because it’ll skip. I literally only used it twice when it broke from the base where it clicks to attach the stick. It's been two weeks and walmart has not responded toward my return or exchange. I will add picture

I wanted to get a spin mop but was was skeptical because of the price. I decided to go with the O-Cedar after reading reviews and it being available at Walmart. I have wood tile floors throughout my whole house. This mop is extremely easy to use! The microfiber cleans my tiles WITHOUT leaving streaks. The spinner works perfectly without splashing water out of the bucket. It is a back saver in that I do not have to lean over and squeeze my mop out over a bucket. I absolutely love the fact that I can use extremely hot water because I do not have to use my hands to squeeze my mop out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to mop the most traveled part of the floor. With warm soapy water ,I mopped the kitchen floor. The spinning wringer did pretty well removing the water from the mop. It could be a little drier, but the foot pedal spinning the mop head beats the older style lever mop wringer. Being older, bending over to press the mop wringer is difficult. It's size, smaller than the old yellow thing, and lighter too, but still does a good job. Now if I can keep people off the freshly mopped floor before it dries.

DOGS (pets) and ARTHRITIS don't get along well together especially if you clean your floors daily or often. Well, let me give this easy to go out and buy mop a BIG plug! I easily found it at my Walmart store (no ordering on the web and waiting#, there's no more painful wringing where you have to hold the pole with one hand and twist/queeze the bottom with the other hand to get the water out #while bending down to the bucket, mind you) - ouch. And when the time comes to change the mop head to wash it, all you need to do is step on the mop head with both feet and pull the pole straight up while standing. Nice fresh mop head clicks right back on the same way. Definitely worth the extra dollars for this product. Thank You O-Cedar, and by the way, maybe you can please upgrade the bucket by putting wheels on the bottom for ease of moving it around the room. I LOVE IT!
