Good every day mop

I bought this based on the best seller status in mops, and sure it did satisfy me. It suits everyone who hates to bend down and squeeze the wet mop with hands. The pedal is easy to use and the more you press it, the drier the mop becomes. So far no complains and i'm happy with it. And oh, washing is easy too since you can remove the mop head and throw in the washing machine.

Easy Clean Damp, Moist, or Wet Mop Fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The O-Cedar Spin Mop and Bucket System came with everything except the soap for me to provide my home a professional floor washing service. The twelve inch diameter (0.78 sq. ft. area) of thick microfiber is 100 percent pure quality. The mop head consists of strings that are very absorbent and soft enough not to cause any scratching or leave streaks on any hard floor surfaces. The durably strong 33 in. handle telescopes to be extended to a full 51 inches for working comfort designed for people of all heights. I can stand in one place and mop my floor out four feet in every direction around me. Because the mop head connector is triangle in shape, the front of the mop gets right into corners, between cabinets, and up in the edges of the floor and wall. It is simple to lightly direct the mop handle straight and push the foot lever causing the mop to get wrung out gradually in the wringer. The foot pedal, which is strong as it applies pressure gradually, will surely work and last for a long time if taken care of and respected. This system is as good as it gets without spending a fortune on an expensive commercial large building set up. The size of the bucket is great because one gallon is not too heavy so as to be hard to empty, spilling out. The splash guard is the smooth, downward sloping inside rim between the spinner and the bucket edges where water drains back into the bucket. It successfully catches water dripping from the mop when it is lifted up to put in the spin basket after it was immersed in the full bucket side. Then, the splash guard catches excess wring water and splashes while the mop head spins and drains of water. Spin wringing this mop causes no mess which mopping the floor has always usually come with. Bending over and hand wringing mops used to take a lot of effort, was never enough to stop all the drips, and lots of the dirty water always stayed inside the mop threads. But, using light, strong microfiber, the grime is lifted, absorbed, and contained inside the fibers. The fibers can be prevented from dripping which makes mopping much cleaner and lets the soap do its work rather than the dirt. The amount of wetness or dampness of the mop head required for the job can be precisely controlled by the number of spins: two (wet), five (damp), or ten (almost dry). Wood floors cannot take a wet mop, so this system can quickly create a slightly damp almost dry mop in no time that can first clean the wood, and then let it dry off completely very quickly. I also used this mop for my flat walls like for a damp-dry-dusting and freshened up my entire room. Other lower quality similar mop systems are not splash proof and their mop heads cannot be washed in the washing machine as the O-Cedar can 10 times. When hand or machine washing the mop head, fabric softener and bleach should not be used. But, when mopping the floor, a little bleach or many other cleaners can be used if rinsed thoroughly after finished. Refill EasyWring Mop heads are sold individually and in two or four packs.

Surprisingly Good Mop & Bucket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I ordered this set I figured a mop is a mop and a bucket is a bucket. Boy, was I ever wrong! The mop is great! I hate the rinsing and drying part of the mopping. Easy Wring Spin Mop takes the pain out of that process. It's single mop and bucket package. It came pre-assembled and was ready-to-use out of the box. The mop rod comes apart and easy to store. The bucket is good sized and has an easy pour spout to drain it. Once you are done cleaning, you can clean the mop in the cleaning solution in the bucket. Rinsing is super easy just put the mop in the spinner and 1-3 push downs with your feet will make mop clear again. On to mopping. It does not take away the physical pain of mopping but it eliminates at least 90% of the hassle out of mopping. Very innovative, easy to clean, lots of features, easy to use, sturdy and a nice design

Love it!

I HATE mopping! I have arthritis in my hands and shoulders that have always made it difficult, if not painful. This little system has really been a game changer. First, the length of the handle is adjustable, which helps with stress on the shoulders and arms. Secondly, the size of the mop head-not a huge wad of string you have to shove around, but a nice size and triangular shape that gets in hard to reach corners and spots. Lastly, the mop spinner-no more wringing! It's a hand saver. Things I would change? Plastic gears to metal and it should come with another bucket so you can have one for soapy water and one for grease to clean the mop. Did I mention I love it?

mop around the clock

This spin mop is more stable that the blue version that is available, the mop head is more dense and the handle is nicer (I have used both). The spinner can make the mop as wet or as dry as you like... I have the laminated flooring so too much water is bad. Compared to the sponge mops, it leaves the floors with a nicer finish and gets into corner better.

eh..

Had this previously at my dental office. The foot pedal broke after about 3 months. Now keep in mind we use a mop EVERYDAY for 10 operatories, 2 bathrooms, a break room, lab and sterilization area so it was used A LOT. We were able to fix it somewhat. It would spin every other foot pump. But about 3-4 months later the foot pedal broke completely. Not really worth the money. If you're someone who mops 1-2 x's a week, probably would work great for you. But if you use it daily like we do, not worth it.

Great Mop System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my new mop system for two weeks. It mops really well and with the triangular shape of the mop head, it is a breeze to clean corners. The mop handle attachment pivots the mop head so you can clean under furniture easily. And I like that you can adjust the handle anywhere from 24 inches to 51 inches. We have tile, laminate and linoleum floors and it cleaned all surfaces perfectly. The foot pedal is simple to use and the more you push down on the pedal, the dryer the mop. The bucket has a fill line to add the water. And I like that I can control how wet the mop is depending on how dirty my floors are, especially the kitchen. Cleanup is easy. Just pour out the water and rinse the bucket and mop head and you are all set for next time. The mop head is microfiber and is machine washable. I have washed the mop head in the washer and it comes out clean. You can also purchase additional mop heads. I am happy with this mop system and even if I am sitting in my wheelchair, I can mop the floors easily. And the best part is not getting my hands wet.

I LOVE this mop! I have dark laminate wood floors in my home. I have used every type of mop under the sun to try to find one that did not leave water spots. Well, I have FINALLY found it! Before I found the O Cedar Spin Mop I would mop my floor, and then dry it on my hands & knees with a towel to make sure there were no water spots. Not anymore! I have 3 boys, my 12 year old loves the spinning feature so he volunteers to mop! Since the spinning feature only leaves the mop damp, I am able to clean cob webs from the top corners and even wipe down entire walls in my kids bedrooms! This product is WAY more than a floor mop to my family!

Loved it...while it worked

I loved cleaning with this mop, but I haven’t had it long, and the spinner no longer spins. Instead, the pedal simply pushes down to the floor without coming back up. I spent a lot of money thinking it was a product that would last...so disappointed!

I haven't washed with a mop in years!

I've used steam cleaners for years or done my floors on my hands and knees because I felt mops just swished the dirt around on the floor. With this mop I never have to touch the water, I can "wring" it as dry as I want or leave it as wet as I want. My floors are clean, clean, clean. This was much faster than any floor cleaning method I've used in years. The price of this mop is lower than comparable mops but seems to be of better quality.
