I hate dust and dirty floors. I've bought every conceivable mop out there but I always have the same problems: Made too flimsy, too heavy, bending over to wring and always sloppy. I don't have strong hands anymore and my back's no longer my friend. But this mop is perfect. Light yet strong, well built. I break everything, I push too hard and something breaks, but not this thing. I didn't understand the whirling bucket thing because I was holding the mop in place. You have to do an "Okay" sign with your hand around the mop handle so when you pump with your foot the whole mop spins dry. No more wringing, no more bending. I don't mind paying for quality and this is a quality product. Haven't broken it yet and it's been 6 months! If you knew me that would really impress you.

This mop spins out beautifully., No more extra wringing out of your mop head with your hands. You do however have to touch the plastic part of the mop head to make sure it is straight so it will spin out right. I wish the bucket came with some easy rolling casters so you wouldn't have to pick up the bucket to move it each time. My other issue has been that I cannot get the top part of the handle to lock into place & it keeps collapsing & pinching my fingers. I called the 1-800 #on the box & the lady told me to spin the handle for a full 2 minutes!!!!! I worked up a sweat but that was all. The handle still would not lock. Will try to return it to see if another one will work for me.

The concept of this bucket with microfiber mop is nice but it can be a little awkward using the system. The mop needs a lot more heft. If it had more fibers with a bigger head, it would be a lot better. I am short so I can get away with using the handle but it should be longer. I have had it for 3 years and it has kept its shape, fibers, very well. Warning, be careful when using the foot petal on a linoleum or tile floor because the friction may cause scratches to occur on the floor.

I wanted the Hurricane Mop System off TV, and I was very skeptical because of the price, and the return policy. I bought the O-Cedar system in store. I brought it home and began performing mimics off the other TV commercial. It picked up wet foods fairly well (liquids, eggs, etc) however, dry foods mixed in with liquids (coffee grounds, etc) it picked it up, but I had to try 4+ times to get it all up, and it didnt hang on very well when shook. I am VERY picky about my floors. I have white tile in the kitchen, so everything shows up! We have 1 dog in the house, it picks up hair fairly well. I tried to mop/sweep at the same time and if its a little amount of dirt it would work, but not a lot. It got up against the wall and baseboards well, I liked that because normal mops do not do that. IT DOESNT SPIN AGAINST THE WALL THOUGH. I found my floors to dry 90% faster, so that was a plus. When I washed and spin the mop it came out fairly clean, which was also great. I wouldnt recommend using just plain water, I would add in some cleaner with the water. Overall, I like the mop and I would buy again!

I have bought five of these mops. The first one was great and lasted about a year. We have pets and mop daily, and the system is great for anyone who has health issues that make mopping difficult, but the basket quit spinning and the foot pedal will not return from the depressed state. Still when the first one quit working I immediately replaced it, and I bought another for our second house, and one for my workplace. Unfortunately the the same thing happened with the one used in our main home. This time the mop bucket quit functioning on the third use!!! I bought another replacement but have not opened it. So I now have two new unused mops that I have not opened, and the one at work is still boxed as well. Should I return all the new ones? Is this a defect in the system design? There are more comments about the exact issue. Is there a known problem that can be repaired? I did recommend this product to people based on the first purchase and know at least three purchased it, but right now I feel bad for recommending it. Are they going to experience this as well? I really hope this is repairable because when it works it is a great product!!!

This replaced my old blue bucket spin mop. This mop head does not spin alone though. The mop handle and mop head spin together. So you have to carefully hold the handle as it all spins around. The nicest thing about it is how the triangle shape mop fits into corners!

The mop and bucket is excellent! By far the best mop and bucket I have ever owned. There is one major issue. I bought this in February and the pedal has worn out and is no longer spinning the mop. This happened with my first mop bucket after several years so I bought another one but this one has only lasted 6 months.

I’ve had this mop for years and it’s the best. Doesn’t leave streaks,easy to use. Bucket has a fill line so you don’t overfill. Don’t understand why people say their mops are soaking wet. You spin the water out SIMPLE! I will never go back to any other mops. Easy to snap of and wash or replace. Love it

Putting it together was a no brainer. All you have to do is screw the handle on the mop head, and you're ready to go. I had always seen the commercial touting what it can do, and all I have to say is, the commercial is truthful. I filled the bucket, placed the mop in the water and wrung it out with the EasyWring. No bending is required due to the nifty handle on the bucket that allows you to wring easily. I loved how it got into tiny corners in my bathroom and removed dirt, and grime like a pro. This thing is so easy to use. You don't have to get your hands wet or dirty; the mop system takes care of all of that for you. I don't know why it took me so long to get one of these because the old way of mopping is tiring and I don't like to get my hands dirty or have to bend over unnecessarily. I highly recommend this mop system to anyone who wants an easier way to mop, and clean your floors.

Mop head doesn't independently spin when mopping as seen on TV by another maker but after using the O-Cedar, it is not an important feature. This seems to be the original invention and it works. What made mopping an uninviting chore was wringing mop by hand, or a hand operated lever, or rollers. This product makes all that unnecessary and does the job in 5 seconds with a few foot pedal pumps. Floors can be completely dry in 5-10 minutes and floor is evenly moist without the wet streaks from sponge or other types of mops. Your hands never touch the clean or dirty water and there is no out of bucket spray in the bucket's spinning cycle. Husbands buy this for yourself for mother's day. You'll get points. A chore made easy but don't be surprised if your wife will want to try it and then use it, because you need to do the hard jobs not the easy jobs.
