I hated mopping, but not with this mop! My husband bought it for me just before we were married, now 8 months later he decides he wants to go back to mom. So, I go to pack my things and he has taken the mop and given it to dear sweet mom. I will be buying my own mop this go'round. It is great at cleaning everything except messy marriages! LOL! Yes, the mop is that good- he never used it but it made my life easier.

This mop is very disappointing, the spinning action feature is horrible. This is the second mop I bought and both mops the step lever broke,on one completely off. I bought these two because I have arthritis in my hands and hard to wring out mop,,,total waste of money,

I was going to buy a Spin Mop, but the reviews had me worried. Most of my cleaning tools are made by O'Cedar, so when I seen this one, I ordered it. Now, this is a really sturdy & well made mop. All the manufacturers claims are True. It comes already assembled and it had easy to use instructions. I have used it to Wet Mop,& Damp Mop. My floors are cleaner & I don't use half as much cleaner as I use to. The Mop head cleans up just as clean as the day I got it every time no matter what I have used it on. You should always sweep before mopping, but if you can't depending on the amount of water you put into leave in the mop, it will pick up very small items. I like to see O"Cedar make a Deck Scrub so I can use it on my patio & deck., Write O'Cedar for a coupon & give it a try, you'll be glade you did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sponge mop I had been using is a Cedar mop so I knew that I could trust this brand before even opening the box. This is a very simple design and it is extremely easy to assemble the mop and took literally a few seconds from box to filling the bucket. The mop handle is made of metal so it has actual weight to it and my first thought was it won't crack like plastic if you screwed it together too tightly. It telescopes out to full length and twisting it locks each segment securely into place. The mop head then screws on and there is a red plastic end cap for the handle. The end cap doesn't screw on and after it fell off and bending over to pick it up a few times in a few minutes I just left it off. The bucket is oblong (see pictures) so it won't stack with any buckets you have to save space and it doesn't just fit into any sink to fill under the tap either. You either will fill a gallon pitcher twice with hot water and then pour it into the bucket or fill it in a bathtub. The triangular shape of the mop head fits into smaller and angled areas much better than the rectangular sponge one but because it's so soft there's no real scrubber on it. I pumped three times for a wetter mop then went back over the spot again pumping five for a drier mop and it removed a spot without scrubbing. The foot pump wringer is like a salad spinner and the more you step on it the drier your mop is. It really works very well and is super easy to get floors squeaky clean. The mop heads can be washed by hand or in a machine and replacements are under $8. To sum it up it works great, cleans floors really well and it actually is easy to use.

Have had this mop for YEARS! I use it on tile, wood floor and even to mop our plastic garage tiles. I mop at least once a week and this mop is PERFECT! I can spin 10 times for a nearly dry mop for my wood floors or just once or twice for a more saturated wet mop. Those that have trouble may be filling the bucket too full; as the bottom of the spin area cannot touch water (seems obvious). Make sure to not grasp the mop handle tightly as spinning, again seems obvious. Well worth the $38 I paid years ago.

I used this for the first time today. I was impressed. The mopping went faster than with my old mop. It covered a larger area and then the water spins out of the mop almost completely. I love it for my hardwood floors. The manual foot spinner worked like a charm! I was afraid it might tip over but it didn't even come close. I highly recommend.

about what product to use as I had to use something soft. Now the new floor is durable, but I wanted to make sure the surface would not get scratched. I also have animals and that also played a part of the dirt and the environment attributed to the dust that I could never get rid of. I read the Positive, the Negative but for the price THE POSITIVE OF COURSE WON OUT. Upon purchase I immediately put the handle of the mop together. THAT WAS ALL I HAD TO DO. Put a tab of Lysol in the bucket with water and off i went. The spinner was easy to use. I did not do it forcefully, nor fast. It spun out just the right amount of liquid from the microfiber mop. I did not have WATER BLOBS on my floor but enough dampness to do the job. MY new floor has seen the swifter (my floor also has texture, that I found harder to clean evenly), hand cleaning and now the mop cleaning. THE MOP WAS GREAT. No spots of water to be seen and it was a NICE NICE SMOOTH clean. No smears, no water drops, it was evenly dried. The mop did what it was suppose to and I was surprised with the spinner and how effective it was. My floor dried quickly and evenly and this mop was so smooth crossing the floor. Would have liked the bucket on small wheels but, that is a small inconvenience.

Being an older woman, it's difficult to have to bend over and ring a mop out. I thought this product would alleviate the problem. It didn't. The spin bucket you pump with your feet useless. The liquid stays in the mop head to the point that you can see the puddles it makes when you push on it. It's also very hard to pump the ringer and since it's just plastic, I'm afraid it'll will break it I push it too hard. Not worth the $$$ because it's nothing more than a mop

The bucket is awesome. The mop, not so much. The plastic that holds the microfibers keeps scrapping against the floor and makes mopping very difficult. Also, the microfibers themselves die off every so often while mopping, so the mop itself won't last long. Buy this only for the bucket and buy a mop to use in said bucket.
