Love being able to add hot water. i had been using a Swifter beforehand for years . Wringing out the mop is almost fun and it is not soaked when done. Floors were exceptionally clean. I am happy that i can add the mop head to my washing machine. Shipped quickly.

This mop is actually pretty wonderful! If your old school like me and prefer a string mop get this one! Same deal just better because u don’t have to use your hands or squeeze water out with a paddle. When you first use it don’t judge how the mop pushes over the floor, it’s gonna get better with time. First few uses it kinda slides over the floor and doesn’t feel like it’s wiping the floor because it’s new. But when she is broke in it’s literally perfect. I have bought this mop ever since it came out. Only O Cedar though!!! The other brands don’t compare I’ve tried… One other thing is if your a bleach mopper, DO NOT LEAVE THE BLEACH IN THERE, unless you want to replace it sooner than later. So we have dogs and we always keep the water in bucket for quick mop overs to keep floors clean in between real cleanings. I use to use bleach and when it sits in there in wears out something in the pedal and it will eventually break. I have switched to oda ban and it works wonderfully and I have gotten a longer life span from this bucket!! If u haven’t tried u must!! Sooooo thankful for this product. Pray they never change it, they have gotten new designs that came out just hope they don’t get rid of the OG!!

I am so happy with this mop n bucket! That spinner gets almost all the water from the mop so after I mop I can go back over the floor to help it dry faster. I only wish the spinner part would come out so it would be easier to use the bucket for other things but then again it’s a good place to hold things if you don’t put too much water in it.

The best way to mop is with your tee shirt. Take it off first. Soak it in the sink, get down on your hands and knees and mop your floor. Rinse it out when your done, put it back on and you're all set. That's how I used to do it when I was young. The second best way is with the O' Cedar spin mop. I bought one of these for my 90 year old mom, and she likes it so much I got one for my wife, who also loves it. I just had to try it, and it really works great. It's fun as a novelty but is also a practical and sturdy tool. You pump the pedal to spin the excess water from the mop, just like the spin cycle on a washing machine. Pump it several times while holding the handle loosely to get it spinning good and fast. Also you have to make sure that the plane defined by the mop head is perpendicular to the handle before you spin it, but that's just common sense anyway. The entire mop including the handle will spin, so you hand acts like a bearing, and that works just fine. A regular mop is like an old fashioned wringer washing machine. Spinning is better than wringing. It appears to be well built and durable, though only time will tell for sure. A little pricey perhaps (I paid $30), but it does everything claimed, is fun and practical, and makes a great gift.

I wasn't totally satisfied with this product. The bucket was easy to manage, and the wringing out of the mop worked great. I was glad to not have to do it by hand. But the problem lies in the mop itself. It didn't work very well. It was hard to move it across the floor, it did not move smoothly, I really had to work at it, and it is much too small. It was also too floppy, it wouldn't stay the way I wanted, kept switching it's position which was really annoying. I finally got my Libman mop which I love, but it's hard to work the wringing part and used that in the bucket wringer, worked fine, so that's what I will be doing from now on.

I think this is a great product. For me the worse part of mopping floors in wringing out the mop and this is the solution to that. I have used the hurricane mop in the past. I tried it twice and after a while the buckets started to leak. So I wanted to try this brand and I am hoping it doesn't have the same problem. That is why I could not rate for durability it is too soon.

This mop is great! I will warn outright you have to have the handle completely straight to spin it, and make sure not to get too peddle happy or you will be mopping with a dry mop which does nothing. But if you only press peddle 1-2 times its perfect! I have 2 teens using it every week and its held up very well. Bonus- they think the pedal is fun, so they don't gripe about mopping during weekly chores anymore.

This mop is the best ever! I've used lots of mops in my lifetime and this one is outstanding. Cleans great, gets in corners and under furniture, and you can control how much water is needed. It also comes with the extra pads which is a great perk. The replacement pads alone aren't cheap.

I have a handicapped cat and he won’t use a litter box so I have potty pads on my vinyl floors but he still misses and makes a mess. I’ve tried Swiffer pads for a quick cleanup but it leaves behind a nasty scent and floor streaks that are filmy. Ugh So I bought this contraption and it’s awesome! I add hot water and Lysol which cleans well and takes away the smell. I love the lightweight bucket and foot press to wring out excess mop water. This has worked so much better on my floors and no streaks. I have to do a little more work to fill the bucket with soap %26 water and then dump out the dirty water but compared to what I was doing before this is easy and I feel like my floors are actually clean!! Definitely recommend!!

Overall for the value I'm very happy with this product. I had been using a mop with removable mop pads and never felt like my floors were getting clean. After the first time using this mop I noticed a huge difference in how clean my floors looked. The spin portion works really well to get out excess water from the mop. I need to get another replacement head so I always have a clean one ready . My only complaint/something to get used to is it's more cumbersome to use than my previous mop, but the cleaner floors are worth the extra effort.
