We have tried all the other OTC medicines for allergies and nothing works like this. My boyfriend is allergic to dogs, I have a dog.... since he moved in a year ago it's been difficult for him. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did like Xyzal 24 hr. It does have 5 mg of antihistamine so I took it at night. Under the warnings it states that drowsiness can occur. It worked pretty good by taking it before bedtime. It also warns not to use if you have kidney disease but most medications do have warnings on them. I like the fact that it is a 24 hr tablet.
